Overall bad experience, either SCAMMED or just bad training My experience with this dealership pertains to me buying a brand new 2018 GMC Sierra in November 2018. I spoke with multiple people over the phone dur My experience with this dealership pertains to me buying a brand new 2018 GMC Sierra in November 2018. I spoke with multiple people over the phone during this transaction and bought an onyx black sierra. The truck has been great and I have no complaints there. I had 2 issues with the actual agreements. They agreed to place the all weather liners in the truck and when it was delivered to my house they were not in there and i had to drive an hour to the dealership to get them and then they tried to give me the cheaper mats than the ones we agreed to. We eventually got this figured out after having to drive back down there again to get the right ones since they had to ordered. The bigger issue is with their costco 500$ deal. When i was buying the truck they asked do you have a costco membership and i said yes. They said well you get 500$ off and never asked for anything else. Either they tried to scam me or were not trained well enough to inform me of the requirements and ask for membership information. So now 2 months later they have called back saying costco is not going to reimburse them for the 500$ and are going to bill me. This is ridiculous that they are trying to get 500$ out of me due to their mistakes or inadequate training. Honestly I think they will do anything and say anything they can to get a sale and then deal with the aftermath. My recommendation is to stay away from any Jim Ellis dealership in Atlanta cause my father bought a brand new 2018 GMC Sierra from the Mall of Georgia location and they promised him 2 free oil changes and said they would clean it and fill up the tank twice and they only followed on the oil change. I definitely recommend buying a vehicle from somewhere else and stay away from these people. More

Not that happy Ricardo and Anthony was great. But Michael Mills suck. First he gave me high interest rate. of 6.85 with a 785 credit score. He told me that what GM Ricardo and Anthony was great. But Michael Mills suck. First he gave me high interest rate. of 6.85 with a 785 credit score. He told me that what GM financial was giving. turn out that was a lie. They told me they just approved me the dealership set the interest rate. Second I wanted to cancel my gap, extended warranty and a joke product they call Allstate paint and fabric. Fyi never buy that. But Michael would never return my calls. the only person that would was Anthony the sale manager. If they only new I buy a car every 2 years. And I own 3 GM vehicles now. I will never buy at Jim Ellis again. I bought my truck in the early part of October. still waiting on over 4k of my money and it is December. More

When we got to negotiating the price, he was fair and we had fun. We ended up on a great price. The business manager, Mike, was the same way. Both were transparent throughout the process and were a pleasure to work with. When it’s time for another car, we will definitely stop here again. More

Great customer service!!! My wife and I had a great experience buying a vehicle. The one problem we had is getting the gash fixed at first. Came for an Acadia, was disappointed, bought a Sierra Everyone there treated us well, starting with Michelle Floyd on the phone. We wanted to buy a GMC Acadia Denali package. The vehicle we wanted was "out" when we arrived, so we test drove a red one. We were very disappointed in the 2018 Acadia Denali. We have a 2014 Acadia Denali so we know how nice they can be. GM has chopped up the 2018. They are not as wide, not as long, and they tapered the back so much that the third row seat can only accommodate two people instead of three. The power folding mirrors are gone, the heads up display is gone, the air conditioned seats are not nearly as cold, and the front seats are cheaper overall, as well as not as wide. I felt cramped driving the 2018. I do not recommend the 2018 to anyone. Buy a used one, before 2017, you will love it. As for the Sierra, the whole experience was good. Ricardo was excellent to deal with on both the Acadia and the Sierra, and was not pushy or over bearing. We enjoyed our interactions with him and would recommend Ricardo to anyone. When we arrived to finalize the deal on the truck, it was ready, and cleaned, etc. Ricardo had seen to it that the preliminary paperwork was completed, so our time there was shortened. We drove away in a new GMC Sierra Denali and love it so far. More
