Great customer service- this was my first time purchasing a new vehicle and everyone at Brilliance Honda was very personable, detail-oriented, and willing to answer my questions. Might be the ABSOLUTE worst experience I’ve had in my life purchasing a vehicle. I called in advance (8hrs+) told them that I had a pre-approval and told them the price I was willing to pay for the vehic life purchasing a vehicle. I called in advance (8hrs+) told them that I had a pre-approval and told them the price I was willing to pay for the vehicle. After “checking with the Manager” called me to say that we would be good to go. I took off work early to come to the dealership and even called in advance to let Rob know that I was coming. When I arrived (20 mins after my call) the receptionist paged, texted, and called Rob without a response. Then I personally called him after sitting in the lobby waiting for 15 mins, still with no answer. I was on a time crunch and explained that in advance that we would need to expedite the visit. The manager was only willing to play the typical dealership games and they continuously pushed that they could get me better financing. I purchased a car back in December from this dealership and had a similar experience (but still purchased the car). I’m a sales leader and understand that people make mistakes and wanted to give them a second opportunity. I was very wrong. They have no shame in playing games, providing poor service, and intentionally attempting to take advantage of their patrons. the car was valued by the NADA at $13k and the sales price was $18,999. They provided a trade in value of my car at $5500 and was spot on with the NADA value (I was happy with this). Although when asked about movement on the sales price NOT A DOLLAR on a car that was overpriced by $6000???? My lender advised me that they would finance up to 125% of the value and would still allow me to purchase the vehicle if I wanted to overpay. I was willing to over pay for the vehicle and they would have made a good return. But instead choose to speak poorly to me and the manager said that if you don’t like it I know how to leave. As a return customer they have shown that repeated business is not valuable. I would highly recommend anyone considering this dealership to find another option. I’m absolutely disgusted that owners would hire people that don’t care about the customer experience. More

Do yourself a favor, guys... NEVER AND I REPEAT NEVER go to Brilliance Honda of Crystal Lake. I've never been treated so disrespectfully in my entire life. Warren the sales manager, could not even be matur to Brilliance Honda of Crystal Lake. I've never been treated so disrespectfully in my entire life. Warren the sales manager, could not even be mature enough to hear a customer's concerns about how their experience has gone. Rob Calhoun, salesperson, could not even get his business together for a speedy sale. I got hung up on and was told they are severing our deal all because I said I've been unhappy with my experience thus far. Worst place ever. More

We can't say enough to express what an exceptional service we experienced dealing with Robert. He was courteous, respectful and professional and went over and above what can be expected. He even helped me connect my phone to Bluetooth when we were already in our cars on the way out. The tank was filled to the top which is another sign of the appreciation and care this dealership provides for their customers. This was the best car purchase experience in our lives and we have bought quite a few cars! There were no pressure, no sales pitches, nor any hidden fees. The paperwork was processed quickly. We highly recommend this dealership and we will definitely be back for our next car purchase. Thank you, Robert! More
