I want everyone aware of the scammer dealership i just purchased a Mclaren from Dean Team Volvo in xx Louis Missouri Absolutely the most crooked dealership I have ever purchased a car from and ive purchas purchased a Mclaren from Dean Team Volvo in xx Louis Missouri Absolutely the most crooked dealership I have ever purchased a car from and ive purchased 100s of cars in my life!!!! I purchased a Mclaren 570 Car from them with there sales team sending pictures and videos of only the areas on the car that didn't have paint issues and telling me the car was immaculate including the GM Come to find out yesterday on arrival from the transport that the whole car needs to be repainted as the paint had been wet sanded through the clear on the whole car and turned the car a completely different color with no clearcoat on the car to protect it, not to mention the color of the car wasnt even advertised correctly. I called the dealership and spoke to there GM Scott Varnum to try and see if they would work with me to handle the problem. They told me to contact my attorney and that they wouldn't do anything for me and hung up on me. Now I'm stuck with a $120,000 car that needs a 30,000 paint job, the front lift on the car doesn't work as the actuators are bad, tires are bald, passenger door wont shut correctly from not being alligned correctly, the parking brake is broken, which I'm confused as they told me they had just serviced the car 5 miles ago! I'm so stressed out about these guys screwing me and not going there in person before buying from this dealership. I have never had a dealership treat me like this. I still am in unbelief that this big of a dealership would actually treat there customers like this!! So now my options are to hire an attorney to try and sue for repairs to make the car correct or take the car in for repairs and loose 40 to $50,000 on the car to make it right. My advise to everyone looking at a vehicle from these guys is go see the car in person and hire a Pre Purchase Inspection by a 3rd party to ensure your buying a worthy vehicle and don't end up loosing tens of thousands of dollars from pawning off a junker on the customers like they did to me!! Personally after my experience I would stay as far away as possible from this dealership and there other dealerships as you can and look at other dealers that will treat there customers right and not get screwed like I did!!! We purchased a car online for delivery, and Scott lied about the paint, working order of the car, and condition of the vehicle. He sent photos that were old, took a video from the bottom of the car to hid about the paint, working order of the car, and condition of the vehicle. He sent photos that were old, took a video from the bottom of the car to hide the fact that there was no clear coat of paint left. Also told us everything worked and the lift on the car was not working. DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP. When we talked to the GM, he told us to hire a lawyer, and good luck. More

He answered all of our questions and literally ran from one building to the next to find the right car for us. If you want a really pleasant experience purchasing a car you can do no better than Paul. We had the dynamic duo with Paul and Joe helping us find the right car with all the must have options and helped us find exactly what we wanted. Joe did a great job explaining all the specials Volvo had to offer and explained all the cars features. Joe was really friendly and his conduct put as at ease. Finally, Scott, the Sales Manager equally a friendly professional, asking us when we first went through the front door, how he could help. When going over the final numbers he was clear, direct and transparent with us and I really appreciated his candor approach. 5 stars all around. P.S. Shelby in Finance was Quick and Efficient and made the loan process so easy. More

*BUYER BEWARE* When buying out of state be sure to save every text message and record every phone call, just as I have! What started out as a great buying experience, has now led to a 3-month debacle, e every text message and record every phone call, just as I have! What started out as a great buying experience, has now led to a 3-month debacle, ending with me having to take this dealership to small claims court. All because this dealership wants to save around $750 instead of doing what's right! I bought a 2020 Buick Regal GS with 13k miles on it, sight unseen. I specifically asked Bob, my salesman, on the condition of the vehicle stating "Also I know this probably isn't the case but for formality. There's no issues with the vehicle I need to be made aware of? Paint or body issues, undercarriage or mechanical issues, interior issues?" To which Bob replied "it's a very nice car." However, when the car arrived on transport I immediately noticed there were several dents/dings on the door, two wheels were curb rashed, and it had significant pain damage all over the hood/roof of the vehicle! I express these concerns to Bob immediately the next morning followed by multiple pictures of the issues. He told me he didn't know how that was missed because he "checks cars for stuff like that himself." He told me he would speak to management and I began getting estimates. Bob and his boss Scott said the estimates were way too high. So they asked me to go get more estimates. Which they also agreed were too high. The 4 estimates ranged from $2,743 to $4,278 which was just for the paintwork. I told them the dents and wheels I would be fair and just address myself. They told me the best they could do is give me $1,000 because that's what their bodywork guy they use would charge them. Which obviously they would get a discount, because I'm just some guy off the street. This was after a month and a half of giving me the runaround. I told him that was unacceptable and I asked to speak to Bob's manager Scott over the phone. The three of us had conference call (which I recorded) and we discuss an idea I previously had, that they come pick up the vehicle to have the work done by their guy. However, they knew the logistics would be complicated so they wanted me to call my lowest estimated quote and try to negotiate a lower price with them. I told them no that's not my place that's on them, so they did. They would not come down on the estimate, which was the obvious outcome. So we proceeded with them picking up the car. Bob said he would get back to me with dates on getting the car picked up. After over 4 weeks of waiting, which has been the norm throughout this process, delays after delays. I told Bob they needed to find a way to come up with the ~$750 to just have the work done here. I was told that was not an option. The best they can do is give me $1,100 to which I said no. I asked when they could pick up the car and how soon could I have it back. Keep in mind I'm 5 hours away. Bob told me it would be another week before he can have it scheduled, a few days before the car arrives to them, two weeks before it's done and they can get it coordinated to come back to me. He added, it could be sooner it could be longer. Which we all know it's typically going to be longer. I was shocked by this, because I was expecting them to have confirmed dates already, as I had been waiting over 4 weeks for this exact information initially. It seems it is of such low priority that nothing had been done! I told them if the car was going to be out of my possession for an undetermined amount of time I would like a rental car and they also fix the curbed rash wheels ($85 each). Bob told me that would not be an option, forcing me to be without a vehicle for an undetermined amount of time, which is unrealistic! I said that was unacceptable and again they needed to either get me a rental car or come up with the additional little expense to have the work done here locally. I was told either take the $1,100 or deal with their undetermined timeline. I will now be taking this to small claims court. More

I would not recommend this dealership nor Jamel to another person interested in buying a vehicle. He and Scott (the manager) would not let me purchase the vehicle out of state without allowing local appointments to have first dibs, and when the horrendous process was finally over and I received the vehicle a week later, it did not pass state inspection. If you want an honest dealership with integrity and professional customer care, flyover this establishment. More
