had a very good experience for our 1st time coming to this dealership. Tim May was excellent. Was a little disappointed that the day after we purchased the truck the battery had to be replaced. with the help of Shane Chapin we were able to purchase a battery in Syracuse area without having to drive the hour and half back to Rochester He advised that we could send the receipt and be reimbursed for the cost of the battery This we very much appreciate. The truck does ride and handle very nice

I am quite the difficult client when it comes to car shopping. I have researched and visited other dealers all around the county. I came back to Cortese because no where else did I get the same patience. Plus they were able to give me more than I wanted. They went the extra mile, and even helped me bring my rental back. I always feel welcome when I walk in the door. Denise stayed late and worked hard to make a deal and I appreciated that.

Shane is a very low pressure and honest salesperson. He has earned my respect and trust when purchasing a new vehicle. He made me feel welcome and took the time to explain all aspects of the new vehicle and went over all of the features. He took me around to meet the technical staff who would be working on my vehicle. Shane made me feel like I was the most important person on the planet and he listened to what I had to say. Never once did he make me feel like I was wasting his time or boring him. He maintained eye contact and eagerly engaged in conversation. Shane never rambled on or was self-serving.

My Review Of Cortese Auto Group:

I had a good idea of what I was looking for in a new car but the combination of what I wanted was not easy to find. Shane took the time to listen and made the suggestion to order the vehicle I wanted. I asked for a back up camera in the Escape and had been told at another dealership it could not be done. Shane made a few calls and discovered it could be done. The trade in value of my existing car was extremely fair and an amount was even added if I made the deal that day. I never felt rushed or pressured when working with Shane...in fact we seemed to work together on getting the vehicle I wanted. I have already told friends about my experience at Cortese and highly recommend them.

My Review Of Cortese Auto Group:

I Purchased/Leased a 2012 Fusion and worked with Sales Consultant Shane W. Chapin on August 27, 2012. I am familiar with Mr. Chapin as he also sold me my previous Ford Focus.

Mr. Chapin is quite knowledgeable in the areas of Sales and Leases. He takes the time to make sure that you are given the most accurate information allowing you to make a comfortable decision. He is very Professional, Courteous and generally concerned about the overall presentation of the information given and in your (consumer) confidence in the vehicle of your interest. He does not hesitate to answer any questions. His work area is always neat, clean and welcoming. Working with Shane with these two deals have been a learning experience and I welcome the opportunity to recommend family or friends to seek out Mr. Chapin at Cortese if they are seeking to purchase a new or used vehicle.

He certainly, is an Asset to Cortese Ford Dealership.


I also had the pleasure of working with Mr. Joe DiGuardi, the Business Manager.
Mr. DiGuardi is a Professional, Courteous, well versed gentlemen with regards to payment options and contract interpretations. He walked me through the entire contract. If he sensed that I was not certain about an area of the contract, he would take the time to go over those areas with me.

He has a pleasant disposition which also allowed the process to flow smoothly. After the purchased, I had some questions regarding some numbers on the contract. I telephoned him and left a message. He returned the call promptly, answered all of my questions satisfactorily.

My overall experience in purchasing this Lease Agreement for my 2012 Fusion was Superb. I must say, I have been completely satisfied with all components of Cortese Ford. I have had business with the Service Department for over 10 years and all of the Gentlemen working in that department are the nicest people one would want to have dealings with and Jake, the driver, always make you feel comfortable as he gets you to your destination as well as picking you back up.

My Review Of Cortese Auto Group:

Recently, we had the pleasure of purchasing a 2013 BOSS 302 at Cortese West Henrietta, NY. While we know searching for and buying a car can be very stressfull, we found that not to be the case at Cortese. We were very impressed with the service we received from Consultant Shane Chapin. He is experienced, knowledgeable and thorough, answering all of our questions. After several trips to the dealership and many hours of negociating, Shane was always professional and patient. We also had a nice experience with the Head Machanic Harry Devoe. He has a wealth of information about the BOSS 302 and was considerate of our "protective behavior" when we had to leave our new car in his hands to set our Trac Key. Additionally, we'd like to mention Suttle Driver Jake. He was prompt, pleasant and conversational. These men have great PR skills and we would highly recommend this dealership because of them.
