Helped my son buy his first car, a high mileage GMC Acadia. Soon after the check engine light came on and it needed new timing chains. The dealer could have told me to pound sand, but Zach was a total Acadia. Soon after the check engine light came on and it needed new timing chains. I purchased a used vehicle and 3 weeks later, after only 153 miles tons of smoke was coming out of the tailpipe. I was instructed to bring it back to the dealer and it was in the service department for over 153 miles tons of smoke was coming out of the tailpipe. I was instructed to bring it back to the dealer and it was in the service department for over 2 weeks. Between the service people and management an effort was made to try and figure out what was wrong with the vehicle and how to fix it. Finally, after much frustration, I received an email from the Used Car Director Brian Crandall at which time we sat down to resolve the issue. Mr Crandall took the time to listen to my concerns and was prepared with a variety of options for me to choose from. In the end, I selected a comparable vehicle and traded in the other auto I had for only a month and a half. Brian took care of all the logistical issues regarding the change over. I felt that my situation was handled very professionally with the focus on customer satisfaction. I appreciated the time and attention the management staff of Heiser took in order to assure I was completely satisfied. More
