I can say that I am now a proud member of the Volkswagen family. My next car will surely be a Volkswagen and will most likely be bought through Carolina Volkswagen. More

Best Volkswagen Service we've ever received We had a terrible experience at Keffer Volkswagen Service who threw HUGE numbers at a problem our van was having, saying it was a $5K problem, $10K pr We had a terrible experience at Keffer Volkswagen Service who threw HUGE numbers at a problem our van was having, saying it was a $5K problem, $10K problem...well actually $20K problem. But they wouldn't be able to officially diagnose the extent of the problem without first having us pay $770 for some service. Ultimately, they recommended we junk our 2009 Volkswagen Routon and just buy a new car (We're we talking to the service manager or the SALES manager?!?!). We left quickly. I called Carolina Volkswagen for another opinion. I explained what we knew over the phone and what the Service Manager at Keffer had told us and asked if what he was saying sounded right/appropriate. Matt agreed that it all sounded outrageous so he let us bring in our van for a FREE second opinion. We worked with Matt and Carmen very closely and they were SO kind and thoughough! Also, Charles answered the phone many times over the few weeks our van was getting serviced and HE knew exactly what was going on too - even though he wasn't our assigned rep! Incredible! The prices were drastically more manageable and (seemed) more appropriate at Carolina. It was still a big fix - but DEFINITELY not something we needed to "scrap" our van for! BONUS: We had such a rough time at Keffer and were so upset, they cleaned the interior of our van for FREE! Just to show us how much they cared! I highly recommend Matt at Carolina to anyone who will listen. He will tell it to you straight (AND in layman's terms if you don't understand "car mechanics") AND he'll give you a fair price. Pros: Fair Price, great service, kind department, fast work, replacement vehicles while you wait for your car to be replaced, less expensive than Keffer, great understanding of mechanics Cons: Still Expensive (unavoidable though in our situation, + I don't think we could have gotten a lower price anywhere else) More

Great customer service My battery died on me so I got a jump called Carolina VW and Charles got me right in. They got me all fixed up and out the door in 15 minutes. Charles also mentioned to me that when I had some time to call for an appointment to fix the airbags that were under a recall. He explained that it would take about an hour to fix.
