It started with a call to the dealership on a Monday. I spoke to Laura, who was very informative and listened to what I was looking for. She set an appointment for me to come in the next day. I met with Maria LePage the next day. From the minute I met her, I felt like like I had known her forever! The car was already warmed up and ready for a test drive. She knew how much I had my heart set on this one specific vehicle. I had been looking at it on line twice a day for the last 2 weeks, lol. When we came back from the test drive and started making the deal, Gary Rome, himself, came and sat with us. Since I am new to this, my husband needed to get involved. Gary spoke to him on the phone and explained all our options. Both Gary and Maria did everything possible to make sure I got the car I wanted THAT DAY! I never imagined it would be that quick as my husband is beyond stubborn. We are very pleased with the deal we got. I then met with Jason Cisek, Business Manager. He explained all the paperwork that I was signing and went over and answered all my questions about the extended warranty options. After that, I sat with Kevin who helped me set up my BlueLink account. When it was time to leave, Maria reviewed all the special features in my car. She told me anytime I had any questions, to please call. When I left, I needed to pick up my plates at their dealership in Enfield. John helped me and put the plates on. The story starts in June of 2018... June 2018, I went to Gary Rome Hyundai with anxiety and feeling nervous. I’ve never done this before. Buying a car. Alone. A single mom with 2 twin 17 June 2018, I went to Gary Rome Hyundai with anxiety and feeling nervous. I’ve never done this before. Buying a car. Alone. A single mom with 2 twin 17 yr old boys who got their license-3 drivers, 1 car. My intention was to find a car for me, and hand the boys my 13yr old car so we can be functional. Gary personally took me in, knew my situation, and partnered me with John. Before I knew it, I fell for a 2017 Tucson. I never felt more taken care of, then I did at that moment. John and Gary promised me that if something didn’t feel right-we weren’t doing it. At that moment I felt that this was all the right thing to do. I trusted them. Needless to say-I love my Tucson. And it’s MINE, and I did that, alone. I did it. Now let’s fast forward. That 13yr old car the boys had, well, the engine blew - 2 days before Christmas. Guess where I went...the only place I knew and trusted- back to John and Gary. My son, just drove home a 2014 Chevy Cruze yesterday, from Gary Rome Hyundai. John, Gary and their ENTIRE team (front desk, back desk, finance, GM all knew my situation) and made sure that they got us a car that was dependable, and something that we could financially handle so we weren’t put into a situation down the road.
