This is the third car we've bought at Acton Toyota and it is because of great people like Mike. He was able to get the car we wanted, in the color we wanted, even though it was not on their lot. He did not pressure us into buying anything we did not need. Even after purchasing the car, Mike spent a lot of time explaining all the different features of the car to us. We hope to work with Mike again in the future! More
Excellent experience with Brian Doney at Acton Toyota I had an excellent experience at Acton Toyota Used Car Annex. I was looking for a corolla, preferably used, to serve as a commuter car. Brian showed m I had an excellent experience at Acton Toyota Used Car Annex. I was looking for a corolla, preferably used, to serve as a commuter car. Brian showed me a few corollas that they had available (both at their location and at the main Acton Toyota site), we drove all of them, and I decided on a 2007 with 55k miles. Brian was very accommodating in showing me several different vehicles , but he was not at all pushy, which allowed me to focus on finding the best car for my needs. The dealership itself was also very good. They have an extensive selection of cars which allowed me to compare them side by side. In addition, it is clear from the cars I drove that they take pride in selling quality vehicles. They put a lot of money into them before they offer them for sale, its not just a wash and detail job. On my corolla they replaced the tires, brakes, and performed the major service required at 45k/60k miles in addition to the very thorough cleaning and detailing. I drove of without needing to worry about any repair or major service - just drive it until its next oil change in 5000 miles. Considering all the money they put into the car I think the price was very fair. Lastly, the paperwork process, which usually takes a while, was quick and simple. It took a few minutes with Frank to wrap things up and I was on the way. Overall my experience with Brian and Frank at Acton Toyota was excellent. The process was fair, straightforward, and they do not waste time. I have a solid well serviced car and I will certainly go to them the next time I am purchasing a vehicle. More

Deliverance Bought my new 2014 Tundra TRD Off Road in March from the showroom floor without a test drive, my mistake. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the truck. Her Bought my new 2014 Tundra TRD Off Road in March from the showroom floor without a test drive, my mistake. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the truck. Here is the problem: When I apply the brakes, after it sits for a period of time, it will emit a high pitched noise for the first few applications. This happens consistently after a rain storm or in the presence of humid weather. I picked my truck up on a rainy, snowy day in March 2014. When the storm cleared I found that my brakes squeal. My thoughts were that they just need to be broken in, I was wrong. My brakes would consistently emit a high pitched noise after sitting for a period of time in humid or rainy weather. I brought it in for service to have the squealing noise fixed after ~5 weeks of ownership. I was told that the brakes were safe and that sometimes composite brakes will emit a high pitched noise in humid weather from the rust that accumulates. I didn't say the brakes were unsafe and this won’t be the last time I’ll hear the word “composite”. At my 5K mile service I brought the squealing brake problem to the attention of the assistant service manager and again I got the SAME ANSWER. My option was to talk to the “chief mechanic” during a test drive to duplicate the problem. The problem, as I have explained to them and written on paper for them, happens “after sitting” for a period of time after a rain storm or humid weather. I asked the mechanic if his brakes squeal. He replied, “Sometimes.” This is the mechanic that will be working on my truck ($100/hour when the warranty expires) and his brakes squeal “sometimes”. I think he was HONEST. I then met with the service manager who said, “This is like going to the doctor’s office with an eye problem.” They are not doctors and this was no eye problem. He advised me to leave the truck overnight the following Monday so that they could duplicate the problem. They would provide me a loaner to use. It IS an inconvenience, but I had no other option. I received an email on Sunday stating that my appointment was for Tuesday morning, I understood the message to be that they wanted me there when my truck was taken for a test drive. Reasonable request, but this would mean missing work-Bigger inconvenience. I cancelled the appointment, but was reached out to by a generic “Please give me a call” message left on my voice mail. I don’t believe that this brake noise problem is that uncommon and that the fix is simple one. A seasoned mechanic should know what to look for and how to fix it. I felt I was being made to jump through hoops for a problem that is way too common and one that Toyota doesn't want to deal with-“GUARANTEE-Warranty doesn't cover brakes.” Not blaming anyone, it’s the system, but I was hoping Acton Toyota would be different, they aren't. I bought my 2014 Tundra from Acton Toyota and my brakes still consistently emit a high pitched noise after sitting for a period of time in humid or rainy weather-I tell anyone who may ask. Respectful-Yes, but condescending; Friendly-Mostly, if you agree with what you are being told. I was satisfied with the 5K service consisting of tire rotation and fluid fill. More

Some frustration but very satisfied in the end We picked out a few cars online we wanted to test drive but no one ever responded and they were not ready for our visit. We went to the main dealership first, but most of the cars were at the annex. We met with Ken Hsu and asked to test drive a Camry we had seen online. It took him about 15 minutes to find the car, and when he did it turned out it was an automatic, not a manual as advertised. Afterwards, Ken drove us over to the annex to drive some others. It took him a few minutes to get the keys for the first one, but after that each car was ready and waiting by the time we returned from the test drive. We drove five cars at the annex then returned to the main dealership to test drive a used Prius, which we ultimately purchased. We hadn't intended on trying a Prius but we asked about it after seeing one at the annex, and Ken said there was one back in Littleton that was in our price range with reasonably low mileage. Ken took it down the street with us to the gas station first. After the test drive and some discussion and contemplation, we settled on the Prius. Ken was very helpful while closing the sale. We finished the loan application the next morning and the car was inspected, registered and ready to go that afternoon - very convenient. I have been very satisfied with the purchase thus far. More
Acton Toyota is second to none I ventured to Acton Toyota following a miserable experience at a Volvo dealership in Nashua. Keep in mind that this was following more than 30 years I ventured to Acton Toyota following a miserable experience at a Volvo dealership in Nashua. Keep in mind that this was following more than 30 years of loyalty to Volvo. I had no idea what I wanted the the Avalon was of interest. Every moment of my experience at Acton Toyota exceeded my expectations - the entire team is second to none. From Steve Kiviat who welcomed me to the sales room to Alex in the finance department, I couldn't have been any more satisfied (and at age 65 I have very high expectations). A million and one thanks to the entire Acton Toyota team. PatTCakes from Townsend More
