I contacted Acton Toyota after it popped up as a dealer participating in the Zag car buying program. I emailed Tom Downing to make an offer on a Prius that I saw was in stock on their website. I was glad to hear from him that the car was actually available, as many dealers seem to offer cars on their website that they don't actually have. I proceeded to negotiate a price with Tom via email, which was smooth and cordial. We settled on a detailed breakdown of price for the new car, which gave me confidence that there would be no bait and switch. Subsequently, we got to my trade-in. We were able to come to a reasonable conclusion on the trade-in value of my car via email, which I appreciated because I needed to drive from Boston to Littleton to pick up the car and didn't want there to be an issue when I got there necessitating a long drive back without my new car. When I got there, the transaction went smoothly and without any shadiness that I've experienced at other dealerships. The car was nicely prepared and they modified customized settings for me before I left. This was probably the smoothest transaction I've had buying a car. I would recommend Acton Toyota. More
