Service Manager had been driving vehicle for personal use prior to purchase. After signing paperwork noticed that lid covering the truck bed was not positioned properly. Immediately advised sales person wh prior to purchase. After signing paperwork noticed that lid covering the truck bed was not positioned properly. Immediately advised sales person who had Service Manager put it back on track. After we pulled out of parking lot cover came back up. We advised dealership who made us make an appointment 2 weeks out to return to fix. Service manager explained cover needed to be removed and aligned. We waited, told us it was fixed, went outside to inspect and vehicle cover was still off track. I believe it was Mr. Alexander who is not in Service but in Finance went to inspect the truck and advised he found it was missing a clip off of one side that had to be ordered and we would need to bring the truck back in by mid week once part arrived. Left frustrated and angry, hopefully this corrects the issue the 2nd time around. More

He knew I was coming from some distance to look at specific Corvette and didn't want to disappoint me so he toughed it out and kept the appointment. He dragged the vehicle out of the showroom and into the parking so I could get look at it in the light. The rest of the buying experience was difficult as the power outage required us to drive approximately 20 minutes down the road to different sister dealership to get the paperwork completed and then back again. I have bought many cars in my life due to my profession as well as my age but I have to say that this was probably one of, if not the best, buying experiences that I have ever had. Andre was completely knowledgable about the Corvette line and was quick to pickup on how much I knew and didn't know so he could provide the right amount of assistance without being arrogant or pushy. His coworkers were equally friendly and courteous and you could tell that enjoyed their work - even in the heat and the dark. As one who rarely writes reviews whether good or bad (yes I'm lackadaisical in that regard), I felt compelled to provide this review. While I don't measure car buying experiences by how "good of a deal I got", I do measure them by how well I was treated and that I'm driving off in the right vehicle. While no one wants to get screwed over financially, every dealership needs to make money as every salesman needs to sell a call to earn a paycheck. But it's rare when someone in the industry like Andre is truly trying to earn your business and not just shoe horn you into a vehicle to make a sale. As most anyone reading this knows, car buying experiences tend to be not-so-pleasant as its time consuming and expensive given the price of vehicles these days. However, if you have to go through the process, might I suggest giving Andre and his cohorts a chance. I think you'll drive away feeling good about your choice regardless of the spend and time invested. More
