I was fortunate enough to have the same salesperson who served me nearly twelve years ago. In both cases, he looked after my needs in fine fashion. As far as the dealership is concerned, I am concerned served me nearly twelve years ago. In both cases, he looked after my needs in fine fashion. As far as the dealership is concerned, I am concerned at the amount of hustling that takes place. Too many questionable recalls. I recall an instance in which a recall was used as a pretense to make expensive repairs that I did not intend. When my last Sonata was purchased, I didn't feel that I had the same amount of interest in me as when I purchased the car. There have been occasions of rudeness in the service department in the past. On occasions, I have been offered unsolicited trade-ins. I am continuing with Hyundai because I have been pleased with the cars. It is with the expectation that my concerns will be addressed. Therefore, I would recommend the dealership with reservations. More
I was met immediately upon arrival. I was given the option to stay, or return later with the promise the car would be returned to me by the afternoon. It was ready within 3 hours. I had an excellent experience with this dealership from start to finish. The process was smooth and straightforward, and I’m very happy with my purchase. start to finish. The process was smooth and straightforward, and I’m very happy with my purchase. More
Would give zero stars if I could. WORST DEALERSHIP ON THE PLANET!!! I am reviewing Genesis of the North Shore. Zero confidence in this dealership. If I could unwind the deal, I wo WORST DEALERSHIP ON THE PLANET!!! I am reviewing Genesis of the North Shore. Zero confidence in this dealership. If I could unwind the deal, I would. Sold me a fraudulent CPO GV70. Test drove the car; noticed the brakes had vibration. Was told it was surface rust from sitting on the lot. Next day took it to my mechanic and was told I needed new pads and rotors all the way around. Dealership took my car in, resurfaced the rotors and left the pads. Issue will come back w/in a thousand miles. I am now dealing with Genesis corporate since these morons will do nothing to make it right. I reported them to NYS DMV for fraudulent inspection, to Genesis corporate for fraudulent CPO, and to the NYS Attorney General for deceptive sales practices. Unfortunately, I have to name at least one employee here in this review. None of the people named below work at Genesis North Shore so I cant point them out directly. I generally dont care to name people because it's the dealership in total that truly sucks. But leadership sets the tone and experience, so I suppose I'll hold the following people accountable: Lance Cotten, General Manager (spoke to him personally, he never called me back), Lianne Dunne, Sales Manger (called me two days later to see if I was "still interested" in the car I inquired about, even though I bought it), Joe Keisling, who allowed the sale of a certified pre owned GV70 that needed major repairs, Chris Heisel, who sold the car without providing the required CPO paperwork (warranty and inspection), and who STILL hasnt returned my call even though Corporate has escalated the complaint, Joe Kaufmann, service manager who is responsible for allowing a fraudulent CPO certification to come out of his shop, And David Hyatt, salesman who provided me with the line of xx on my test drive about the brakes and using deceptive sales practices to sell a used car. I have never left a bad review or escalated a complaint in this manner. But I will be SURE to leave a detailed review on every site that asks for my opinion. BUYER BEWARE!!!!! Do yourself a favor and drive an hour west to Genesis of White Plains. Largest dealership in the country and much, much more professional. They will get my service dollars for the rest of the time I own my car. More

Overall great. Would like to have been able to have the work done more quickly, but that's not something anyone can control.
