I'll try to keep this concise. I bought a used jeep in August from Airpark. I Was asked to sort out an argument between sales people after test driving the vehicle. Very awkward. Finance person named Bret August from Airpark. I Was asked to sort out an argument between sales people after test driving the vehicle. Very awkward. Finance person named Brett was horrible at presenting the financing. All financing is recorded at this dealership but he turned off Cameras half a dozen times during financing consultation. Extremely shady. He was eventually fired from what I was told later. The Dealership cashed my down payment checks a week early, causing overdraft fees and late rent payment. They did reimburse me for overdraft fees, gave me a free tank of gas, and made apologies for what I had experienced thus far. Accepted and thank you. Reported problems accelerating and loud engine noise 4 days after purchase (experienced during my first day of commuting to work). Since then, I've had the vehicle in 7 times and the same problems still exist. They didn't acknowledge the problem until I asked to drive with one of the Tech Team leads. He experienced it while driving. So did the second tech I drove with after my 5th visit. The first time, I was told to step on the gas harder to avoid the sputtering engine. Incredible. Spoken with Vantuyl Auto Group (who owns the dealership), GM, Service Director, sales manager and the HR manager and still have no resolution 9 months later. They acknowledge a problem and have thrown thousands of $$$ in parts and labor at it to no avail. Currently, I've placed numerous calls and 2 emails(including a lengthy email to the Vantuyl auto group) and I sat and waited over 24 hours with no response (and I called twice asking for someone to contact me); with the exception of the service department wanting me to bring it back in to look at it. I said no. I'd given them more than ample opportunity to repair and it was a Customer Service issue at this point. The service adviser said the GM would be calling me. Have yet to hear from anyone. This surprises me considering their overall online reputation. However, none of the reviews mention a problem with a resolution. They're all positive reviews or negative reviews with no follow up or resolution documented. Spoke with City Chamber of Commerce, State Attorney General's office, BBB and an Attorney. All said the same thing... AZ Lemon Law covers used vehicles, I meet the criteria for a claim and to File Claims with all my documentation if they fail to resolve in 5 days. I've been reluctant to do that because I don't want the hassle, but it appears to be inevitable. I'm not being difficult or unreasonable. I gave them 10K in down payment for this vehicle, made 8 months worth of payments, I've taken numerous days off work, and I'm done with trying to service this lemon. I will be sure to update this once it's over, whether they offer a solution or I conclude a claim with the State and BBB. More
Finance did not demonstrate any sense of urgency or concern with correcting the error of filling out the check needed to finance the vehicle and sending the required documentation. Instead they were ve concern with correcting the error of filling out the check needed to finance the vehicle and sending the required documentation. Instead they were very errogant and rude to me as the buyer. I purchsed the vehicle on 2/10/2012, although I contacted Ian and Andrew on numerous occasion, the required documentation was not sent to my finance company until I took time from my schedule to visit the finance manager, Alex on 2/27/2012. It only took 15 minutes for them to fax the check and other documents. At this time I was treated with disrespect. His behavior conveyed that I was not a valued customer and my purchase meant nothing to Airpark "since we do this at least 25 times a week". I am very disappointed at the lack of professionalism he displayed to me. There was no compensation offered to me for my inconvenience to have driven to the dealership to have this resolved as well as obtaining another check from the finance company which cost me $15.00. This was the worst buying experience I have ever had. I will probably purchase another 15 cars over the span of my life yet I would never consider nor recommend anyone to do business with your dealership. More

I left feeling like I was up-sold on lots of extra coverage I didn't need and now I'm over extended on my payments and the process took way too long. When I got there the dealer tells me Jeeps are coverage I didn't need and now I'm over extended on my payments and the process took way too long. When I got there the dealer tells me Jeeps are hardly ever stolen now because of the Century key and as I'm finishing up the paper work almost 2 hours later the financial guy is telling me I really should get all these coverages because Jeeps get stolen all the time and I can only get the coverages right then and there and canceling later won't reduce payment. Also, it's been 2 weeks since the purchase and I'm still waiting on the warranty literature I was told would be mailed to me along with information about when to bring my Jeep back in to have nitrogen put in the tires. If I could at least get the brochures on the warranties I purchased, as I was promised, I could get a better understanding of the coverages I bought and have better understanding on what I purchased and if and how much I was scammed. The paperwork process seemed to take way too long. It took 30min to test drive two Jeeps and make a decision, it took almost 2 hours to get through the paperwork even though I was already pre-approved by my bank for the total amount. My wife is now in the market for her Jeep and I'm sorry to say we will NOT be returning to Airpark Dodge nor would I recommend them to anyone else. More
