I spent nine exhausting hours at the dealership — yes, nine hours — feeling like I was being held hostage while they tried to get financing approved. I wasn’t able to access my own bank funds that day, but I returned the following day with a check to pay the car off. Regardless, they dragged the process out unnecessarily and left me mentally drained. What’s worse is the total lack of support or communication I’ve received since. Once the sale was made, it’s like I stopped existing to them. I’ve asked multiple questions about the vehicle — no one will return a call or give a straight answer. They also sold me a $1,000 warranty that I was led to believe would be useful — only to find out it can only be used at their dealership, which is three hours away from where I live. That was a complete waste of money, and no one disclosed that at the time of purchase. In addition, the car has several unresolved tech issues that no one is helping me with: • Why is there open-source licensing showing up on my head unit/radio? • Why doesn’t it connect to wireless Apple CarPlay as advertised? • Why are there QR code stickers on my windshield that don’t scan or lead to any helpful information? • Why doesn’t my Toyota Connect app allow remote start or link properly? • Why isn’t the Safety Connect app functioning for critical safety features? This was supposed to be a major purchase and a positive milestone, but instead it has caused nothing but stress, inconvenience, and disappointment. I do not recommend this dealership to anyone. The customer service is non-existent once they have your money. It feels like I was misled on multiple fronts, and now I’m left with a car I can’t fully use and a warranty I can’t take advantage of.
