As a finance manager in the car business, I know how deals should be handled professionally and ethically—this dealership was the exact opposite. After agreeing to purchase a vehicle at a set price and signing the commitment, I was taken to the finance manager’s office, where they accepted my down payment. Then, in a completely unethical move, Sales Manager Marcus came in and told me they would not honor the agreed-upon price and would only sell me the car for $2,000 more—or they would walk away from the deal. I have been in this industry for five years, and I have never witnessed such unprofessional, shady, and deceptive tactics to squeeze more money out of a customer. Marcus was not only disrespectful but completely lacked integrity in how he handled the situation. This is not just bad business—it’s a clear display of greed and disregard for customers. If you are considering buying a car from Toyota Al Hendrickson, do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. No one deserves to go through such a dishonest and frustrating experience. More
