Beyond Terrible Customer Service I needed to write this review because of how poorly I think my experience was today. My service consultant was Shedrick Anderson, who I learnt was a m I needed to write this review because of how poorly I think my experience was today. My service consultant was Shedrick Anderson, who I learnt was a manager, and I thought he was extremely unhelpful and unprofessional. I came in because my Camry, which I bought brand new in 2018, had a very weak start. After the analysis, I was told it was a battery problem. Now I understand that he has to make his sale but he told me the battery would be $304 dollars with a 6 year warranty and which I refused because I believed that to be too much. When I went back to pick up my car, not a single person tried helping me out with obtaining my car. I finally was able to see Shedrick and he just brushed me off and said "keys inside" and just looked down back at his device. I get that because I didn't get the service completed at Toyota, he could care less because that's the exact reaction which I received from him, which I thought was beyond unprofessional but then I went and changed my battery and realized that the mechanism to hold down the battery was not screwed down tightly enough which caused the battery to be shaky. This I know happened while the car was at Toyota because I checked the battery before leaving my house this morning and it was not shaky. Moral of all of this is that I don't want to come back to this location to get any services completed on my car because of the poor service and attitudes of some of the individuals within the Service department. I literally stood in place for about 10 minutes before having to walk up to someone and them just giving me the response, "just wait over there." I don't think this is a fair representation of Toyota which is a brand that I love but I've received very poor service at this location on multiple occasions and I just needed to get this off my chest. Some service representatives there really do need better guidance and training on treating customers better because it seems like all they care about at the ending of the day is making the sale by selling whatever service they need to sell and genuinely not caring about the consumer. Sorry I don't typically like to complain about anything but this was just something I really needed to relay. I also relayed this message to Shelby Parker and literally got no response which proves my point even more about how poor customer service is represented at this location. More
Unfortunately I was told my transmission pan needed replacing as it was leaking and could cause major problems. They said $600 to fix.
