Last year a deer ran out in front of my car, doing significant damage. The body shop sent someone to my house the next morning to do an estimate. I had purchased from Allen Turner (Award) Chevrolet in the past, and although they had changed names and ownership I felt I would have my best experience there. My wife (who chose the car) was very happy with Allen Turner. Charlie Lehner apologized for the small inventory, it was during the chip shortage, he worked with us on every promotion and any way just to get us back on the road again. My money was in savings and it would take a few days to get it out to pay for the car, Charlie worked out something to get us an excellent loan rate and additional discount on top of all of the incentives so we wouldn't have to wait to transfer the money from savings to checking and wait a few days. My wife saw the car online initially, while we did look at others she decided the Equinox RS was the one she wanted and with virtually no haggle, we were driving home in a new 23 Chevrolet later that afternoon. Allen Turner Chevrolet (previously Award) is of all the dealers I've dealt with absolutely my first dealership to turn to when looking for a new car. It's not the closest, it's not even in the state of Alabama where I live, but I'll definitely drive the extra miles to check with them first on my next new car. More
