Buyer beware I normally try to be very fair with reviews, i.e. I'm not one to just throw in a 1 star because I'm upset or because one thing in particular was probl I normally try to be very fair with reviews, i.e. I'm not one to just throw in a 1 star because I'm upset or because one thing in particular was problematic. In this particular case, there are multiple disturbing facets of this business that I believe truly warrant 1 star. 1. They are very unprofessional. The salesman spent very little time with us showing the car and describing it outside of showing a Carfax report. He then punted us to the finance department before discussing the price, I can only presume because he wanted to go home (was later in the day). The finance guy ran a credit check again without discussing the price with us, while slurping on a coke and munching on peanuts. 2. Do not trust the price they advertise. It's a cash price, they use it to entice you. Read the fine print, especially with these guys. What they describe as the "retail price" is their real price. If you are going to purchase from them, secure outside financing ahead of time and your price will be better. 3. They do not take responsibility for the car features they advertise. In other words they do not know their cars (or intentionally mislead, hard to say). Certainly checking the features and knowing what they are selling is not part of their overhead. 4. There was no backup key and a floor mat was missing (there was a pile of floor mats in the trunk, but no rear left floor mat). They said they would "get back to us" on that but did not respond until we emailed several times. Then the manager essentially wrote "read the fine print". The fine print said simply "we are not responsible for typographical errors, misprints on equipment, and voided manufacturer warranty". Not sure that floor mats, which originally came with the car, or a backup key, which originally came with the car, have anything to do with "misprints on equipment". All in all they are staying in business by making a killing in profits. Essentially $1500 on "finance charges", another $850 in dealer charges (which is very high in the market), and skimping on basic overhead like testing and knowing the car's features, things missing (like a floor mat), etc. The manager, Khalid, will try to convince you that they make no profit by negotiating with you on the purchase price so hopefully this information I'm providing will help future buyers (the risk takers among you). If you want to buy from them, heed the above advice and make sure EVERYTHING is in the car because they will not help you. Customer service is not their thing. My advice would be to purchase from the car make's dealership. While the prices may be a little bit higher, you are often getting more warranty (certified), they know the particular car better, and I trust they will do more to check the car's integrity than look at Carfax report. My experience with Alpha Motorsports (their general shoddiness) gives me signifiant doubt that they check the car for structural damage ore really do much of anything outside of shipping it from auction and cleaning it. More
