A dealer does not have to include tax, tag or title in the advertised price, but everything else they try to charge you has to be listed in the advertised price by law. Despite this legal requirement to include everything but the tax/tag/title in the advertised price, the price listed on sites like Car Gurus and on their website does not include the nearly $2k key replacement fee (a scam per consumer advocate websites), $750 dealer fee, or the mysterious percent that they add on top of the price. To date no one can explain what the mysterious percent was for, other than to confirm that it was not part of the tax/tag/title fee. They also will not allow you to bring 3rd party financing. You have to go with only their finance company, which charges stupidly high interest rates. I have excellent credit and was pre-approved for a low interest loan, yet they wanted to charge me over 8% interest. This is basically no better than a buy here / pay here type scam lot. More
