Danbury Audy has great customer care and excellency in dealing with customers. Sales prices are competitive, service is efficient and they always have a loaner for you. I drive up 20 miles just to service dealing with customers. Sales prices are competitive, service is efficient and they always have a loaner for you. I drive up 20 miles just to service my Aud there. Everytime I go there, Mark, the salesperson, comes to greet me. I have referred him to friends and they always got great deals and excellent customer care. More
I brought my 06 TT in for service to this dealer several times, most significantly for a serious recurring electrical panel problem. Despite the fact that there was a TON of info available on this issue, t times, most significantly for a serious recurring electrical panel problem. Despite the fact that there was a TON of info available on this issue, the service manager always denied there was anything wrong with the car. I had to bring copies of the service bulletins in before they would acknowledge the problem. I was told later by an ex employee that they were well aware of the issue but did not want to risk an intermittent failure on the bench that would mean they would not receive their payment on the warranty service. Several times I got my car back with things not fixed and would have to turn around and return the car after driving it only a few miles. I eventually had the car repaired at the Fairfield Audi dealership (which I highly recommend) and got rid of it shortly thereafter. I am otherwise a huge Audi fan but the service issue became such a nightmare I gave up and bought a Lexus SC430. It doesn't have the same level of driving performance as an Audi, but the sales and service experience were both outstanding and I am extremely happy with my choice. More
Although I expected to pay quite a bit for a 70/75k Service, it was explained to me what I really needed and what was optional - and when I could come back /or when it might be a critical problem. In Service, it was explained to me what I really needed and what was optional - and when I could come back /or when it might be a critical problem. In addition, the service advisors were professional and, granted my request for a loaner, and finished exactly when they promised! More
When I worked with this dealer I had a number of problems including once where they forgot to tighten down a suspension part after a wheel alinement, this could have been a disaster but when we (my wife and including once where they forgot to tighten down a suspension part after a wheel alinement, this could have been a disaster but when we (my wife and I) started to hear noise I took it to a close friend who has a race shop. He put it on the lift and was amazed at the bad work done. As soon as my car was no longer under warrantee I never took it there again. There were a number of incidences like that. I would stay FAR away from this dealer. PS I am a HUGE Audi fan and own 3 currently and have owned 4 others... More
After reading so many bad reviews on this site about Danbury Audi, I thought it was time to post a good one. I have bought two cars from them, one an RS6 and the other a Q5 and each time they were comp Danbury Audi, I thought it was time to post a good one. I have bought two cars from them, one an RS6 and the other a Q5 and each time they were completely professional with us. They know us by first name, always return our calls and when we bring the car in for service they always have a loaner waiting. I honestly can't say enough good things about their dealership. When I go to buy my third audi, danbury audi will be the only dealership I visit. More
Sales reprentative was not knowledgeable about car at all. I thoroughly researched the car I was looking at, a 2004 A6 wagon, asked her for more details, and she sent the same crap that was on the websi all. I thoroughly researched the car I was looking at, a 2004 A6 wagon, asked her for more details, and she sent the same crap that was on the website - except the price was wrong and I pointed that out to her. I then asked about Audi dealers in El Paso, Tx (I was getting a CPO car). Bottom line there are not any but she sent me dealer info fo places in Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Houston - places well over a days drive! When I asked about perhaps using VW dealer to conduct services on the Audi (afterall, Audi is VWs luxury brand) she said I should check with the VW dealer - guess she doesn't need the commission. She could also use spell check on emails - not very good at spelling. Guess I'll buy a BMW - like I should have in first place! More
This is a modern / new dealership location. They seem professional and service is adequate. They quote you on the service they are about to perform and send out reminders for service. I am not too happ professional and service is adequate. They quote you on the service they are about to perform and send out reminders for service. I am not too happy about the price of service, nor do I appreciate it when they tell me the car is working great, when I find problems after the service. What would be helpful is if this dealership told you when you can expect to get your car back, and stick to it. Often I am able to wait and get the car back during the wait period. More
VERY IMPERSONAL. ONLY WANTED TO DEAL WITH PEOPLE THAT WERE SPENDING OVER 30,000. PASSED PROBLEMS FROM ONE PERSON TO THE NEXT AND NOTHING EVER GETS DONE. THEY NEED SOME MANAGEMENT CLASSES. DONT THEY REALI WERE SPENDING OVER 30,000. PASSED PROBLEMS FROM ONE PERSON TO THE NEXT AND NOTHING EVER GETS DONE. THEY NEED SOME MANAGEMENT CLASSES. DONT THEY REALIZE A SERVICE CUSTOMER IS A FUTURE BUYING CUSTUMER. WELL NOT ANYMORE IM GOING ELSEWHERE More
I went in to look at an A3 and noticed they did not have one on the floor. The receptionist asked if I had been "working" with someone, I told her I did not. After awhile, this salesman reluctantly got up one on the floor. The receptionist asked if I had been "working" with someone, I told her I did not. After awhile, this salesman reluctantly got up from his chair, and one can sense his snobby attitude. He did not introduced himself nor ask for my name or my wife's, just simply state that the A3 is selling so fast that as soon as they get them in they are gone! Did not ask what exactly what I may be interested, when they may get delivery..etc. So I said well, thank you and went to see a Lexus dealer. More
I am not astonished by the reviews and never understood how a company like Audi would consider keeping this type of sales attitude. I bought a few cars a while back from this dealership in the past, as I h how a company like Audi would consider keeping this type of sales attitude. I bought a few cars a while back from this dealership in the past, as I had a very good relation with one of the salesperson. However that change once this fellow was no longer there. They basically give you a lousy trade-in value for your car (at best galves value) even if you want to trade in another Audi and a returning customer. They also make you the favor of selling you a car and will offer you a $300 discount (on a S4 worth $ 60,000) or $ 2,000 on W12 Audi 2005 (when the 2006 are rolling in). You can judge how eager they are to sell when you will see on their web site new 2004 cars for sale!!!! in any case I heard that the guy who own the place is loaded and does'nt give a xxxx. I am sure they move cars. If you want an audi, there is not a lot of dealers around and as most people lease, they don't give a xxxx as they just care about paying what they see on the NYtimes Sunday. Unfortunately, all the luxury car dealers are lousy in this area and cocky. It is the same lousy attitude at estate motors (mercedes) in golden's bridge or Mt Kisco Jaguar. Buy a Lexus if you want service. This is the only car company that train their sales force to be pleasant. More
