The history of Audi Hoffman Estates started off as Schaumburg Audi in 1990. When our current president and owner, who had worked for Audi of America for over a decade, purchased the rights for the Audi franchise from O’hare Porsche-Audi and opened the first exclusive (stand alone) Audi dealership in the United States (at the time 320 W Golf Road, Schaumburg, IL). The original Schaumburg Audi building lasted from 1990-2001 when in the same location a new “hangar style” design building was completed to comply with the latest Audi regulations. Our newest facility opened on July 1, 2013 as Audi Hoffman Estates at 1200 W. Golf Road, Hoffman Estates IL.

Dear Mrs. Randall, I apologize if any of my staff or I came across as being rude when we inspected the damage to your vehicle that certainly was not our intention. But unfortunately, any type of damage to a vehicle caused by outside influence, such as a wind sprung door hinge, is not considered a warranty issue. We as a dealership do not write the rules and policies for the warranty process, we just have to adhere to those rules as Audi puts them forth. In this case I would recommend that you use the comprehensive portion of your insurance on the vehicle to have the repairs completed, as the majority of insurance companies out there will provide this type of coverage. I am very sorry to hear about your experience here at our dealership, we take our customer greeting very seriously here at Audi Hoffman Estates. We do have a greeter for this very reason but that person is off at 5 and then its up to the sales men to greet the customers, the sales men are not always free at that exact moment to greet the customers at the exact time when somebody walks in, they may be with another customer or my be on the phone with a customer or may even be sending emails to customers. With that being said i have looked into this matter personally as i am a little upset that we mishandled you so badly that you would never buy a vehicle from our dealership and also go out of your way to get others to not buy from our dealership. So here is what i found when i looked at our securtiy video you arrived on March 25 in a silver honda pilot at 5:20 pm with 2 other people in your company you walked around the showroom for exactly one minute and then asked Elvin one of our salesmen who was helping another customer at the time if he could help you at exactly 5:21 pm Elvin told you he was with a customer and said he would get you a salesman at 5:21pm Elvin then walks over to Dan another salesman who was sending a email at the time and asked if Dan could help you at 5:22 pm Dan says he will be with you in one minute as soon as he finished sending his email Exactly one minute later at 5:23 you are sitting at Dans desk discussing your needs So as i am aware that we are not perfect i am confused as to how we can improve on the 3 minutes you waited You are more than welcome to come in and see the video for your self.
