Misleading service times I brought my A6 in for a simple service recall that the letter said would take 1 hour. On arrival, they said it would take 1.5 to 2 hours. It took ove I brought my A6 in for a simple service recall that the letter said would take 1 hour. On arrival, they said it would take 1.5 to 2 hours. It took over 3 hours. And this was not a pop-in. I had an appointment. Each time I checked on the status, the advisor said it was almost done, then it would be another 30-40 minutes before I would ask again. The last time he said it was going into the car wash and would be out in 10 minutes. After 20 minutes I walked down to the car wash and they had not even started yet. Then they rushed through my courtesy was and left black dirt streaks all over my door jam that the advisor had to wipe down before I left. My advice is to leave your car for the entire day and just go. Don't try and wait. Too frustrating. More
