Feel like I was robbed Worst service experience ever. The check engine light lit up, so took my RS4 in to have it diagnosed. $5000 later, the warning light is still on and 5 Worst service experience ever. The check engine light lit up, so took my RS4 in to have it diagnosed. $5000 later, the warning light is still on and 50 miles were mysteriously put on the odometer. The mechanics at Audi Palo Alto are either corrupt or hopelessly incompetent- instead of figuring out the problem, they instead wanted >$10,000 to replace various engine components (and probably still would not have fixed the issue) As a bonus, was treated like crap by the service rep Matt, who hounded me on the phone for my credit card number, despite not having sent me an invoice. I ended up taking my car to an independent mechanic, and they were able to diagnose the root cause. After reattaching a vacuum hose that had broken off, all the warning lights went away. More
