Looked at the Alfa and Acura and then to my ultimate decision the Audi. I am very particular when buying a vehicle. I test drove an A4 and was pleased with the fit, finish and appearance of the car. The color I was looking for Daytona pearl grey was harder to find. I saw that a car was due to arrive in a few months at Audi Palo Alto that met the timeline for my purchase. I made a web via inquiry and was contacted within a few hours. I made an offer that was accepted and worked within my timeline. As time approached to purchase the vehicle I tried to contact the representative I had been working with. I went down over the weekend and found he had left. Audi of Palo Alto honored my deal and gave me a new representative to work with. I saw that Javier had gotten excellent reviews, so I asked to work with him. Javier is a role model not only for Audi but for how a knowledgeable professional in the industry should operate and work with a client. I asked to try an S4 and was very impressed with the quality and performance. I made an offer that was accepted and bought the car. Audi of Palo Alto traded a unit for the exact color and options package that I wanted. If you want to take a car buying experience from a drag and hassle and make it fun, exciting and enjoyable I would recommend Audi of Palo Alto. The whole buying process was stress free and seamless. Everything from the sales and finance to taking really good care of the customer was very professional. I understand now why Audi owners are repeat customers. Poor communication Getting my car in was straightforward. I made a reservation online on a day I could get a loaner car. When I got there, they had no loaners available, but said they would get me a Lyft home, and call me with updates. That the car should be done that day or early the next. I called an hour before closing that day because I’d gotten no updates. Was told my advisor would call me back right away. No call. No update Called again first thing in the morning and left a message as my advisor wasn’t available. An hour later called back, was put on hold then hung up on. Called again immediately and was told I’d get a call back right away. Waited an hour and called again. Was told By a receptionist that my car would definitely not be ready that day and that they didn’t know when it would be done. Asked to speak to my advisor and was told he wasn’t available. Asked to speak to anyone in service who could give me an update and was told no one was available. At that point I started making plans to get on with scheduled events without my car, only to get a call back to tell me it had been ready for hours and when was I coming to pick it up? No explanation of why this was such a difficult process, and no apology for the lack of communication. John Su is the person I marked as dealing with, but he was the last person to contact me and seems to be a bit more together than the rest of the staff. More

Enormous delay I arrived promptly for my 10:15 appointment for a recall service. It was about 11:25 or 11:30 before a service representative dealt with my situation I arrived promptly for my 10:15 appointment for a recall service. It was about 11:25 or 11:30 before a service representative dealt with my situation and about 11:35 before I was able to leave. Consequently, I spent about 80 minutes at the service center in a situation that has taken no more than 15 minutes at other dealers. In addition, the center claimed to have fixed my Homelink so that it would open my garage door. Upon returning home, I found that the Homelink did not open the door. A discussion with Jon Bittrolff, the dealership manager, indicated to me that he is well aware of the time delay problem and is seeking to remedy it. More
