The car, while luxurious, ended up being too large for my needs, and with the graduation last spring of my youngest from boarding school in New England, the car no longer was needed for long road trips. I had been analyzing the S6 for some time now, and have kept in touch with our sales person, Jean Pierre, who also sold my spouse her third Q5 last fall. With the recall of the diesel powered autos now complete, I felt it time to make the change. Jean Pierre had kept in touch via e mail message, and we agreed on a test drive last Friday. We discussed the options available, and he located a preferred S6 in the local market, which he then arranged to relocate to Rockville. I made arrangements to stop by on Saturday at 3. We concluded the transaction by 5, in time for me to return home to prepare dinner for my spouse and daughter. A very nice way to spend Easter weekend. When I was ready to purchase, Joe was able to get me a great deal but totally understood that I was still comparison shopping. At the end of the day, the other dealership offered a very competitive offer but it came down to which sales person I liked working with better.
