Robert also took time to make sure I didn't spend my entire day buying a car - for example, he was great a multi-tasking! Loved that! While my car was getting ready, he trained me on another similar car so that once my car was ready, I could get back to work. I really appreciated that effort. Joyce was friendly as well. She also made the process quick and painless. More

But when it takes so long to get the loaner car (last 2 times I was there) or in my wife's case--no loaner, just a Lyft ride home, there is no convenience so the premium paid isn't worth it. We may be looking for other options. The service check in, check out is fine. More

Recall service I brought my S4 in for the Takata airbag recall, but also wanted them to investigate a warning light for something to do with the headlight (I suspect I brought my S4 in for the Takata airbag recall, but also wanted them to investigate a warning light for something to do with the headlight (I suspected the motor that turns it was malfunctioning). They originally quoted me 2 hours to complete the service when I made the appointment (which I thought was rather optimistic), but when I dropped my car off at 7am Scott told me it would be ready by early afternoon. He texted me in the morning, but by 2:30 I had not heard back from him. I inquired when my vehicle would be ready, & he said they were running behind & would try to finish by 4pm. I said that I needed to be home by 4pm, so he said they would get it done by 3:30. Unfortunately when I got there & spoke to him I got the impression that they had not had time to diagnose the headlight warning light because he said it could be the bulb, ballast, or something else (both headlights function properly). My computer still says "Service!" when I first start it up, so this gives me the impression they didn't even try to diagnose the issue, or clear any codes. They did do a complementary multipoint inspection, which although it had specific measurements for brake & tire thickness, everything else could have just been a pencil swipe given their lack of attention to the headlights. Scott pointed to a charge of $190 to further investigate the headlight malfunction... no thanks, I'll take it somewhere that will do a VAGCOM/OBDII scan for free. Hopefully everything was done correctly on the airbag recall itself, because this interaction doesn't give me great faith in their service. The best part about all this was just that I didn't pay for anything! In a follow-up email from their service manager they wanted to confirm everything was great with my experience. I wrote to Mark Monell giving a detailed account of my thoughts on my service. Although I did not have any major problems, & probably do not even want any type of restitution, he never returned my email or made any further communication with me. To me this is an unacceptable response from a service manager. tldr; a very nice service department with great amenities, but they are clearly overbooked or understaffed or not working to peak efficiency & need to improve their communication & thoroughness. More
