Tire Changing Maladies My recent service at Audi San Diego was less than successful. One of the items accomplished was the replacement of all four tires with like-kind tire My recent service at Audi San Diego was less than successful. One of the items accomplished was the replacement of all four tires with like-kind tires. The person responsible for changing the tires marked all four wheels to such an extent that polishing compound needed to be used to remove most of the striations. Further, two of the wheels have permanent gouges in the surface face of the wheels and would probably require replacement. After a month of this being reported, there has been no resolution. Finally, when Audi inflated the tires, the "technician" over-inflated the tires and delivered the car in that condition. Audi clearly states (in the service manual and on the door frame) that the pressure is to be 39f/33r psi. All four tires were inflated to 47psi. A serious lack of attention to detail. I've used Audi of San Diego for a very long time and this is the first instance of them underperforming. More

He went above and beyond by taking detailed photos and videos of the car to ensure I saw every angle and detail of the car. This was extremely important since I was coming from out of town and hoping to purchase this car and drive it right back home asap. I've never spent less time in a dealership getting a really satisfying deal done, and everyone I dealt with was amazing, polite, and thoughtful.
