During the last visit the dealer basically said it's time to put it down. Let me clarify, the car not the wife. I am in a sticky financial situation that I needed a lender to work with me and understand the numbers. A friend recommended I contact Stan at Autocity in El Cajon. Although a bit nervous, we reached out and let Stan know our situation. I must say for the first time in four years it was like someone actually properly understood my situation and knew how to work with it. Stan said to go to their website and see if any of the cars would meet my wife's need for a 'nice' car. We picked out about three from the huge selection and notified Stan. Stan had us come in at our convenience (that night!) and test all of them. Stan introduced us to Mike who would be our salesperson throughout the experience. Talk about a patient, yet really knowledgeable person - Mike rocks! Let me tell you about the drive test at Autocity. They give you the car and ask that you bring it back. No salesman riding in the back pointing out things he thinks you should know about the car. Just some quality time between the car and you. Awesome experience. Unfortunately, the wife and I didn't like the proposed numbers on the great car we drove and decided to wait. Well a week later we checked the website and saw a 2017 Mercedes that was just begging my wife to drive it. We contacted Stan and asked him to run the numbers before we came in this time. He had the info back to us in 30 minutes and everything was in the right zone. We came in, met up with Mike again, and the wife fell in love with this car. Mike had the paperwork done in about an hour, while the detailing crew made sure that the delivery experience was top notch. Highly recommend this place and the entire team. They have made car buying comfortable and absolutely no pressure. More

Active duty military and needing a vehicle I'd like to start off by saying thank you to JR for being so helpful and courteous, even when I came in an hour before they closed. And even after they were closed, he stayed late (which way past the time he should have gone home) just to make sure I was happy and would be able to take home the car I wanted that night. I really appreciate that! I'm in the military and stationed in 29 Palms, so I could have went to any of the cities nearby to buy a car. I DID NOT want to end up getting ripped off and screwed over somewhere, so I spent about 9 hours online reviewing dealers that helped get people with troubled credit financed, had really good customer feedback/reviews, and ran an honest business. The two best options were AutoCity and Classic Chariots, which I ended up deciding on AutoCity because of better feedback, and less negative reviews. I took a Uber from 29 Palms down to El Cajon, a 3 hour ride, which cost me over $200. I would never do that if I wasn't of happy with what I saw online, and I was not disappointed. As soon as I got there, it was already about an hour before they closed, and it was a Monday so I'm sure everyone was ready to go home. As soon as I walked in I was helped immediately, and wasn't thrown some sales pitch. They let me test drive the vehicles by myself, which I really liked since other dealers will have the sales guys ride with you just to throw you some sales pitch and talk you into buying the car. By the time I got done test driving the first vehicle, it was already closing time. Instead of telling me to come back tomorrow, JR let me test drive a few more vehicles until I found the car I liked. He even stayed past closing time to make sure I'd be able to go home that night with a vehicle. He filled it up with a full tank of gas at no charge before I left and told me if I ever had any questions or needed anything to make sure and give him a call. The financing process was pretty simple and I didn't have to deal with the stress of negotiating because of their no haggle pricing. They price there vehicles usually pretty close to what the Kelly Blue Book value would be. I also didn't have to go to the DMV for ANYTHING because they handle all the paperwork there, if you're registering your car in California. If you're looking for an honest place to buy a vehicle from that won't cheat you over just to make a profit, and sell you a vehicle that is reliable than I would definitely recommend this place! JR is a very friendly and thorough salesperson. I came in pre-approved through my credit union and they got me a much better APR through another lender. I’m beyond satisfied. More
