Autocity had the best price and after filling out the Autocitys online financing tool, I received a phone call from Heather. Heather was friendly and very helpful, even offering to text me if it was easier to communicate while I was at work. Heather wasn't going to be there after I was off work so she scheduled me for a test drive with JR and when I arrived early JR was unavailable. I waited approximately 10 minutes past my appointment time before someone approached and asked me if I needed assistance. Alfred got me the keys to take the car on a test drive; the car was beautifully cared for and I was able to take the car out alone. When I decided to complete the deal and finance the car the whole process took almost 2 hours. I was disappointed it took so long since my credit was good and I was leaving a decent deposit plus trading in my old car. They will not budge on the price of the car, not even a little bit. If you want to try and bring a car price down do not come here. They will also try and sell you a longer warranty, the car came with a 6month/6000mile warranty but they continually told me that I really should buy the longer warranty because Volkswagons are expensive to fix if they break. I almost left feeling like I made a bad decision about the car but I needed a car and had already spent 2 hours there. Now that I have the car I keep stressing about it breaking down and I thought car dealers were supposed to make you feel good about buying a new car. In the end I really wish I had waited to meet with Heather to buy this car, she made me feel much better about the process over the phone and even contacted me after to check and see how everything was going. Alfred also contacted me the next day apologizing about the wait time but unfortunately called me by the wrong name, not even close to my actual name and sent me a gif in apology for that, so that was weird in itself. I really want to love my new car but honestly I'm afraid to. More
