I wanted to negotiate a lower price but Auto City is haggle free dealership so it was hard to do a traditional car deal. Nevertheless, we came to an agreement on the price with Tims' help and one of the owners assistance. Jose took care of the financing and paperwork. These guys are knowledgeable in their respective fields and know what they are doing. Yes, they drive a hard bargain but their prices are reasonable, therefore, I cannot complain with the car I bought. I would do business with them again if I ever need another car again. I'd already pretty much decided on a CX-5, which is basically the classier big brother of the Mazda 3 that I was infatuated with. Carfax indicated that Auto City had a couple on their lot. One had been sold & the other was still there. I eventually wound up buying it after a few visits and checking out other vendors. They were easy going, no pressure folks. This, compared to a sales manager up in Encinitas, who tried to talk me into buying a car sight-unseen when I said that there was no way to entice me to drive there from La Mesa. TrueCar seems to be more for dealer sales leads than any real customer service. The fact that they were in El Cajon got extra points since I try to spend my money in East County as much as possible. So, they were nice folks & local. Easy Sale. More
