On February 2nd, I reached out to Auto Expo 46 Northern Blvd Great Neck, NY 11021 to inquire about the 2021 Porsche Macan. After filling out several forms and making multiple phone calls, I was finally con Blvd Great Neck, NY 11021 to inquire about the 2021 Porsche Macan. After filling out several forms and making multiple phone calls, I was finally connected with Shela Dennis. When I asked her why the car's photos were white while it was advertised as blue—a color I was specifically looking for—she informed me that the car was not in transit from Florida. I confirmed that the car's price was $31,995, plus tax and title, and inquired about placing a deposit. However, she informed me that I couldn't do that because the car was not on the lot, and she would call me back. For 16 days, I sent emails, text messages, and made numerous phone calls to see if the car had arrived, but I couldn't get any information. On February 19, 2025, I called again and was told that the car had arrived and was at their service center. I requested pictures or a video and mentioned my desire to leave a deposit, but they stated I couldn't do that until the car was ready for sale. When I asked about the price again, Shela Dennis reiterated the original price. On February 20, 2025, I received a text from Addison, who urged me to come in to purchase the car. I repeatedly asked if I could leave a deposit, but she insisted that I needed to come in person. Since I was out of town until February 22, I wanted to secure the car and complete all paperwork in advance. I asked Addison multiple times about the price, but she avoided the question, stating it would be discussed when I arrived at the dealership. Eventually, she disclosed that the vehicle was actually $6,000 more than the advertised price. When I inquired about this increase, she claimed it was due to LOJACK and a certified warranty. I pointed out that I had the Carfax report and VIN number, and that the car did not have a certified warranty or LOJACK, to which she replied that it would be installed. I insisted on how the information was confirmed on the website and by her directly. When I requested to speak with the manager or owner, she stated that she was the manager. I then demanded to speak with her supervisor, and during this correspondence via text, I received a call from Steven, the general manager. He essentially brushed me off, claiming he was not selling me the car and showed no concern for what had been communicated. When I mentioned I had everything in writing, he hung up on me. I am formally filing a complaint against Auto Expo Inc. and their employees for false and deceptive advertising practices. I have also included recent online reviews highlighting similar experiences More
