We've purchased 5 new Fords from this dealership in the last few years. Always pleased with the sales staff. However, I am still trying to get the service staff to complete work for my 2013 Expeditio last few years. Always pleased with the sales staff. However, I am still trying to get the service staff to complete work for my 2013 Expedition, which was purchased here. My vehicle was having AC problems, which we assumed to be a blower issue. The AC worked fine for short rides, however once traveling for 30 minutes or longer, the AC would sound like it was working, however nothing was coming out of the vents. First trip in we were assured that they could fix the issue, although they said it was something other than the blower. After several days of work, and of course, several hundreds of dollars, same problem. While driving out of town, the AC quit blowing. I brought the vehicle in while the AC wasn't blowing but they were "too busy" to see the issue at that time. Made an appointment and dropped it off again. Several days, more money later, I received the video showing work completed, which again wasn't the blower we originally suspected. Picked up my vehicle, took a weekend trip to San Antonio with family, and 30 minutes in, no AC blowing. Pulled over a few times to let the car "rest" in hopes that the AC would work again.... while on the trip, our 18 year olds friend stated he thought it was a blower issue, since he had some care repair experience. Once home, returned to Autonation Katy to speak to a manager. He agreed that it sounded like the blower!!!! He was quite rude, and stated that he could not help us in any other way. The service person stated he may be able to offer a discount on labor. As of today, I've spent $3200 and countless days of inconvenience to have my AC in the same condition it was prior to bringing it in. At least now, I have an 18 year old and a manager who agrees with my original assessment that the blower is bad. The estimate for this service is less than $1000. I was referred to the Service manager Rick Simmer, who I have called repeatedly, leaving at least 4 voicemails over the last week. No return phone call. I feel like they took my money, and I am now being ignored since I am no longer trustfully opening my wallet. It's almost 100* outside, I've spent over $3200, and I have been a very good customer for serval years. Its disappointing that no one seems to care that the service team is incompetent, apparently all the way up to the manager. More
