I took my 2017 Ford Escape in to have recall work done as well as to get assistance with installation of a Sync 3 navigation system update I had recently purchased online. The service representative let me k well as to get assistance with installation of a Sync 3 navigation system update I had recently purchased online. The service representative let me know that the recall work would be done in a few hours but he was not sure about the time needed for the Sync 3 update, depending on the technician’s schedule. Several hours later I called to check on the status of my car and the recall work had been completed. When I picked up my car, the service representative explained to me and my son that the Sync 3 update program needed to be downloaded onto a USB stick and then uploaded to my car which needed to be running the entire time, about one hour. I greatly appreciated his taking the time to explain the process to us! Tondi and Don Rice More
