Poor Service with Avondale Toyota I have purchased two highlanders through Avondale Toyota, and unfortunately will never purchase a car through this dealership again. My latest experi I have purchased two highlanders through Avondale Toyota, and unfortunately will never purchase a car through this dealership again. My latest experience was with Jake Fratt. Talking with him over the phone, he was informed of exactly the car I was looking at as well as the pricing I was looking to pay. My main question about a feature of the car was not answered directly and I was disappointed leaving with a car that did not have a main feature I was counting on having. During the numbers conversation about the vehicle, the number I was looking to be at was met, however an hour after the conversation, a surprise additional cost was added and my price was changed and increased. The increase was a detail that the salesman knew going into our conversation, before I even showed up at the dealership. It was left off, with what felt purposefully, so I was shown my price point, but then later on was thrown an "oh by the way..." and additional costs were added that should have been explained up front. Jake was very vocal on how many cars he had left to sell, as it was end of the month, and he let me know multiple times how many cars he had to sell to meet his goal. He definately made me feel like a number rather than a valued customer. My husband was also not at the dealership to sign over title from our previous car, and Jake inferred multiple times that I could just sign the needed documents on behalf of my husband. I was informed by Jake that I would be hearing from him after the deal was closed, to follow up, see how I felt about the car but I did not hear from him about that at all. He also vocalized several times that he was the number one sales person and that didn't impress me at all, just made him look arrogant. When I did notice issues with the experience, I did speak with Jake further, only to be told there was nothing that could be done, no further follow up via a phone call was made, and the one time I did get a follow up phone call, I was told several times that he was following up because he was asked to, as in I needed to make sure he knew he was doing what I had asked. Overall will never deal with Avondale again, especially with Jake Fratt. Horrible customer service overall and disappointing buying experience. More

No Snake Oil Here The way buying a new vehicle should be, Deb Sims was a pleasure to work with, she was able to find the truck we wanted for our grandson and there were The way buying a new vehicle should be, Deb Sims was a pleasure to work with, she was able to find the truck we wanted for our grandson and there were never any snake oil sales pitch for "dealer installed options or extra costs" or other worthless products, she explained that is not the way Avondale Toyota does business, the only addons were what we asked for and were fairly priced. we were able to do everything over the phone ( NO HIGH PRESSURE FINANCE MANAGER) the pricing was honest and up front and Deb even delivered the truck to our grandson as a surprise. More

My experience with Jake was wonderful! Smooth, no pressure, and well educated. I don't know a lot about cars and everything was broke down for me so I didn't feel stupid at all.
