My friend and I (two senior ladies) were greeted at the door by Alex who said all sorts of nice things about my 1993 740IL BMW, an old but much loved car. I thought that it was so nice that he appreciated by old gem, rather than saying something like "about time you bought a new car." He also parked my car in the back, which was very accomodating and just a nice thing to do. It's the small things that count no matter where you go or who you meet. Anyway, I came to the showroom to narrow down my choice of BMW (I knew I would be buying a BMW). I had thought I would be buying a 6 series, not sure which one, thinking that it would be smaller the the 7 series I had now, but it turned out that the 6 was really just as big. I'm looking for a smaller car this time around. I wasn't considering the 3 series or the 5 series until I actually came to the showroom and only because Alex very patiently showed me all the models and options I had available. He also measured my car so I would know how big (bigger) the new models were. Again, a small but nice thing to do. With Alex's help I have pretty much narrowed down my choice to the new 4 series convertible with all the luxury options or the 5 series. Car color and interior were decided well in advance of the visit. I'll be back in the showroom when the 4 series coupe is available in the next few months. I won't be buying the coup but it will give me a better idea of what the 4 series hard top convertible will look like. The 4 series is my first choice at this time. So, more about Alex: Alex made my visit a very pleasant one. No hard sell. Just a nice, easy conversation about what would be best for me, based on my needs and wants. I had lots of questions, like "what about the M series?" which we quickly decided was not for me. Apparently I'm no longer a good prospect for a racing car :) Alex added considerably to my understanding of all the models, variations, features and options available to me beyond color. Bottom line is that Alex was professional, knowledgeable and friendly and made my friend and I very comfortable throughout the visit. Frankly I had been putting off a showroom visit ever since my husband died a few years ago. We had been talking about buying a new car but then he fell ill. I really didn't want to buy it on my own, mostly because of the uncertainly of what to expect. But it was a good experience. So thank you Alex. And see you soon. More
Recently purchased a 528 x-drive from life quality BMW. The sales associate Jeanie Giordano was very helpful. She addressed all of my concerns and delivered a car as advertised. The only thing quality at Life Quality are the free bagels while you wait to speak to a service advisor after waiting several minutes just to get into the garage and get it checked in. Went in for an AC fix and came out with a rattling noise. Not only was the service slow and they said they would call within two hours for an update, which never happened and they didn't give us a loaner car, nor mention one would not be available when booking the appointment. After 5 hours of not hearing from anyone, I called and left a message. When Dan got back to me, he said the AC was a quick fix, but we'd have to pay $200 even though when we first met with him, he said the service/repair would be covered in our warranty. We picked up the car before they were closing and no sooner did my husband get on the highway, he heard a new rattling noise that was NOT there when we dropped it off. Because it was a Saturday, they were closed on Sunday. I called Monday morning and the person I spoke too was not very nice and he questioned why the noise would happen after the service they performed. Funny, I asked myself the same question. DO NOT go here unless you want bad service, waiting for hours to even hear what is happening with your car, charging for service for a car we've owned for 2 1/2 months AND bad customer service to call to try to resolve the problem. Will never return here again! I have been to other BMW service centers and they are much more professional, efficient and friendly. Don't waste your time by going to Life Quality, you wil waste your time, money and probably come out with a new problem. More
I’m most certain that this was my last time that I ever went back to Life Quality Service department and perhaps would reconsider buying another BMW from Life Quality sales! I was charged, over charged and scammed by the Life Quality BMW service department. After paying $2700.00 for service ( 1200.00 for parts (and 1500.00 labor?) the service advisor stated that my main computer needs to be replaced because it was broken it kept popping messages on to the screen ( DTS malfunction, DSC malfunction, Tire pressure monitor malfunction… etc, Also stated that my shocks needed to be replaced, something else and else in total of additional $6700.00?.... I picked up the car, went to my local mechanic where he performed wheel alignment, changed 4 tires at (275/each) not 475 as in Life Quality…., tuned my computer and all my malfunction messages disappeared and the car drives and feels like new again!!! BMW??? Hahaaa…. I rather go with Mercedes Benz next month!!! I think BMW lost a few clients! My brother and myself have previously purchased two BMW’s CASH!!! And that would be our last!!! More
I was introduced to Brett through an online inquiry when I was pricing around a 2011 3 series. I ultimately didn't buy the car from him because Hassel beat his price by almost 30 a month. I had many problems with Hassel during delivery and after. When it came time to trade in the 3 series and wanted to go bigger and get into a 5 series I went back to Brett. We handled the whole deal via phone and email. I didn't want to wait 3 months to order the car and he looked high and low to find what I wanted and he did. Within 3 weeks I had my car. It was tinted per my specifications and everything was perfect. The dealership forgot to inspect the car and Brett drove it himself to the service dept to get it taken care of. I cannot express how much it is a pleasure to deal with Brett. I've purchased over 10 new cars in the last 8 years and not one person can hold a candle to Brett. If you are in the market for a BMW make sure you only deal with Brett. More
Luis has been the best service adviser that i have ever dealt with in all BWM service centers I've been to. He is extremely courteous, polite and her is really, really knows BMW's, how they work, how they dealt with in all BWM service centers I've been to. He is extremely courteous, polite and her is really, really knows BMW's, how they work, how they run, noises, etc. I don't look forward to going to the mechanics, but I will have peace of mind taking my vehicle to Luis for his expertise. I went into Life Quality BMW just looking for options for when I was going to return my 2011 3 series lease. I was paired with Brett Laslie and was immediately impressed with him. That day I signed the paper when I was going to return my 2011 3 series lease. I was paired with Brett Laslie and was immediately impressed with him. That day I signed the papers to order my new car. Fast forward about a month and a few days and I am in my new car. During that time, I received plenty of emails updating me on the status of the car and answering any questions I had. Brett was extremely pleasant to deal with and helped me find exactly what I wanted. Upon picking the car up, he showed me all the new bells and whistles that came with it and took the time to make sure I had full knowledge of everything. There was a tiny hiccup before being able to drive away but Brett actually offered to give me a lift to work and then have my car delivered to my job. I didn't end up needing it but just a small gesture like that impressed me to no end. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and I highly recommend Brett to anyone else looking for a new BMW in Brooklyn. More
