From the minute I walked into this dealership I felt a warm welcome with an almost quiet calm ambience. Unlike other dealers, there weren't salesman watching my every move and bothering me while I took a look around. My greetings were received at just the right time and I was under no pressure to speak to anyone about buying a car. I love that. I was able to absorb the inventory in peace. Derrick, my salesman is one of a kind. He's a gentlemen with great demeanor and doesn't have that "xxxxxx" salesman attitude for lack of a better word. Derrick is very straight forward. I got an incredible deal without haggling from the start, an offer I couldn't refuse. Derrick does the right thing from the start. Anything else is extra and with this dealership, extra is their middle name. I can't say how above and beyond he went. He is patient, efficient, and communicating with him is a breeze. He answers his phone and text timely, and always follows through with whatever he says. The whole process was so smooth and simple I could not believe it. I have been to dealers plenty of times in my life, and this one gets the highest award by my standards along with it's employees.
I've had Isaac as a service adviser a few times now. Each time he's been very hard to get in touch with. I was never given a loaner vehicle and my car took over a week to fix each time. I had no idea what was going on until the day I picked it up. I definitely recommend getting a different adviser or going to a different service center altogether.
"“... by the family book”"
I came to BMW of Brooklyn for my scheduled visit being absolutely sure that no matter who would be taking care of me and my car I was in good and reliable hands. And I was not mistaking. I met new people from Nick’s (...team but with the same attitude, same quality of work and the same level of care. My car was admitted by Raffy (Ralph Paillere), a very modest guy with a hardly noticeable but sincere smile on his kind face. Strangely, I met him for the first time. Everything that he had been doing displayed his natural kindness. His seven years of working for this company with an unchangeable set of mind to serve the clients gave him indispensable experience and skills to manage and re-arrange the permanent flow of the coming cars the way that no one was in the path of any other. He let me transfer the personal belongings from my car to the loaner one, without pushing or rushing me. Another member of the team whom I met for the first time was the service adviser - Danny (Danny Dermody). I do not want to compare him with anyone of his rank here but in short words, he is one of a kind person whom you take a liking from the first moments of the communication. Besides his amiable appearance, he has an excellent ability to explain the process of customer’s car repair step by step. The complicated things explained in his own words are simple, easy to comprehend and truthful till the very core. Time and again I was wondering how come all these people were treating me with kindness and thoughtfulness the way that you can only feel it from the very close friends or relatives. The answer came to me as soon as I saw Nick. He was trying to share his time and attention between all of us his clients that morning as he always does it. He was concise but sincere: “we are all human beings, I tell you more, we are all family here and that is why we are treating our customers by the human book here - by the family book. We would like you to enjoy not only driving your car, but also being here with us.”
