My 2011 BMW X5 had its airbag malfunction light come on 1 week after they serviced the car routinely. I borught it in and they said "leave the car and we'll get to it in a couple of days." this is my only ca week after they serviced the car routinely. I told them this and asked for a loaner and they said sorry, no loaner. I spoke to the manager and he informed me that "hey, xxxx happens, you live in New York." I had more words with him and he told me "xxxx you, don't come back you are not welcome here." I had to call the general manager who arranged for a loaner. (wow, a miracle... i thought they were out). After buying a $58000 car 6 months ago, which had been serviced just 1 week ago, this is the kind of customer service I get. Dont ever buy a car here or go to this dealership. I NEVER write reviews online, but was so mad that I just had toi in this case. More
Life Quality is the closest dealership to us. When check engine light lit up and our 1.5 year old X5 went into reduced power mode on Thursday, I figured we'd go to them to save the time. When my wife arrived next morning for a scheduled appointment at 9:30 and said she'd wait to hear what the issues are, they offered her coffee and magazines. Two hours later when she got tired of waiting, she approached the customer service representative, she was told that the mechanic will start looking at the car soon! And thats when everything started going wrong. 1. Despite a scheduled appointment, they did not have anyone looking at the car for 2+ hours. 2. They did not tell my wife that. 3. They did not apologize, but pretended thats normal and our fault that we did not know they are not in the rush. 4. There are no loaner car available and they will not do anything about it. And to top it off, 5. when my wife picked up the car this Friday, the same error came up twice on on her 5 mile drive home. In summary, after an incredibly rude service, one week wait, hundreds of dollars of car rental fees we got our car back with the same issues. I don't have to tell you that I took the car straight to JMK BMW, which is 15 miles out, but have the nicest people working there. I was out of the dealership in 15 minutes in a brand new 528i, and they called me back the next day to explain what they are doing and to manage my expectations. Update: Service manager Steven called me a week later (after I posted my initial comment) and apologized for the experience. He said that they are trying to improve the situation with loaners and improve their client service. I surely hope he is successful, but for now I am keeping the review as it is. More
Vlad in Sales was friendly and communicative, but also very pro-customer in his approach. He followed up after the car was delivered to make sure all was well. Went in for an oil change and 30k service check-up. Overall it would have been a great experience except that it took 6 hours. (Luckily it was all free under the warranty.) Considering the only thing changed was the oil and some parts were inspected, i am being generous in saying it should have been no more than a 3 hour job. Only other problem was they did not reset my service timer. Just an observation I saw, they do not provide loaners as easily as other local dealers in NJ. I wasn't even offered one over the phone when i scheduled my appointment which NJ dealers did. I assume this would be justified by our public transportation system. More

Even though my original configuration was not immediately available, Jeanie made sure I was not driving off in the wrong vehicle at the right price, but rather the right vehicle at the right price. Brett Laslie made our purchasing experience exceptional. Starting with honest price, he kept us posted about all stages of car production and delivery. He offered valuable suggestions and additions. He even contacted our insurance agent for us. Brett was unobtrusive and very helpful. Manny Cuadros also spent sufficient time with us explaining all financial options.
