I brought my X7 in with complaints of squeaky brakes and tire light warnings. Even though I chose "waiter" when making the appointment, no one called to tell me this would take a minimum of three hours. I c tire light warnings. I chose to get dropped off at the Darien Library, which is .5 miles from the dealership. I had to call Vince multiple times to inquire about getting picked up (he never answers his work phone or cell phone). I was stuck in the library a full hour AFTER he told me the work was finally done and he would send someone to pick me up. I would have walked back but it was 15 degrees outside with 40 knot winds. I said I would order my own Uber and he told me to wait. When he finally gave me a summary of the work performed, he told me that they ran a full diagnostic of the brake system and everything was fine. The techs did in fact hear the squeaking, but according to Vince that's "normal due to the X7's sport brakes." Never mind that it only started two years into owning the car. I have to wonder if their sales people tell potential customers that they can expect squeaky brakes? In summary, I wasted FOUR HOURS of my day to be condescended and lied to, and my brakes still squeak. I will now (and forever) go to the dealership in Bridgeport to figure out what's really going on. I will also tell my dozen friends who own BMW's in Westport where they should buy and service their vehicles. Extremely dissatisfied. More
This was the first time going to BMW of Darien. I purchased my car in Bridgeport and typically would go there, but decided to try Darien and they were amazing! We knew that we wanted the 2025 BMW i5 x drive 40 AWD when we entered the showroom. Tyler was instrumental in making that happen at a price that met our parameters. He patiently stayed with us on New Yea when we entered the showroom. Tyler was instrumental in making that happen at a price that met our parameters. He patiently stayed with us on New Year’s Eve until 6pm. In addition, he programmed all the tech in the car, including two iphones, the garage door openers, etc., and helped us order an adapter so that our Tesla garage charger would work on our new BMW. This is the best car buying experience we have had, and considering we are in our 70’s, that’s an impressive statement. A final thumbs up for Anderson and all the people in the showroom who asked if they could bring us water, or help in any way. More
