Both the salesman and the finance person were aware that the car would be registered in another state prior to the price agreement as there was discussion regarding the topic, yet upon filling out the paperwork, both claimed they didn't know the vehicle would be registered in a neighboring state where the tax was higher. The salesman had a copy of my driver's license for 3 months and had already discussed this issue on several occasions.
