Horrible service! Drove 2 1/2 hours to pick up my brand new X5 M50I with a specialty paint color. Spent two hours at the dealership, waiting for our appointment with Finance and taking delivery. I did not new X5 M50I with a specialty paint color. Spent two hours at the dealership, waiting for our appointment with Finance and taking delivery. I did not need to drive the car, as I already own several BMW's. The delivery of my vehicle was atrocious and remained parked so tightly in the parking lot, that I couldn't even walk around it to inspect it. Drove home, parked the vehicle in my garage and noticed a chip in the paint in the rear passenger door, down to the metal. Contacted my Sales Rep and the Sales Manager offered to send me a check for $250. I advised them that I'd like to take it to a local dealer to see what it's going to cost to fix it. Took the vehicle to two local BMW Dealers and the damage is estimated at $1700 - $2000+, due to the specialty color. The vehicle has 204 miles on it. Freeport BMW was well aware of the cost to fix it, but, I'm a woman, so they didn't think I'd know any better. Contacted Gregg Vitello and Chris Carima numerous times. All calls are screened and still no return phone call. Be very careful taking ownership of a new vehicle from this dealer. I will say, my Sales Rep Nike was very nice and friendly. But, that's where it ended. More
