Service responded and earned my loyalty Very happy with the response from service to a tough situation. I had just spent a significant amount of money on a few repairs a couple weeks ago. Very happy with the response from service to a tough situation. I had just spent a significant amount of money on a few repairs a couple weeks ago. Service was very good in that dealing as well with Clint. A few weeks after the repair, I was out for an anniversary dinner on a Saturday. When we came out, the car did the same thing as it did a few weeks back. It completely goes dead. No electrical or power what so ever. I had to crawl through the passthrough to unlatch the safety trunk latch to get the trunk open. I tried jumping it on Sunday. No one is open on the weekend so I left my car and decided to call first thing Monday. Timing was not ideal considering I was having a surgical procedure Tuesday and needed to take care of the car Monday. I spoke to initial person who asked for some detail when I asked to speak with the service manager. She sounded concerned and wanted to help initially to pass some info along. I assume there is a screening process for going directly to the Service Manager. I don't typically do that but was in a jam. Matt got on the phone and apologized for the inconvenience, timing, etc. This sounds funny but it was nice to actually hear that from a dealership. That is not always the case. He then offered up a couple of solutions that were also well received. He took ownership from the beginning and I could tell he wanted to make it right. I won't go into detail but it was about as well handled as it could have been and I truly appreciate the support from Matt and team during this untimely issue. I just switched to this dealership because of proximity but moreso because of being tired of dealing with the attitude at the other place in town. I wanted to give this location a shot and am very pleased with the first experience (even though I shelled out a bunch of money), I feel like they worked with me on a few things proactively. And this second experience with Matt speaks volumes. I don't understand why more dealerships don't work this way like Nordstrom, Marriott, and other first class organizations. This type of treatment wins loyalty for future service needs as well as new car sales. It is a no brainer. Thanks to the BMW team of South Kansas City! More
