First time here to have serviced my pre-owned BMW bought at another KC area non-BMW dealership. Not sure they are concerned about every Service customer. I own a $50k 2015 i3 Tera and they like to give "pat answers" when I tell of my issues with the car - if it is a warranty issue. I strongly believe I own a $50k 2015 i3 Tera and they like to give "pat answers" when I tell of my issues with the car - if it is a warranty issue. I strongly believe my car's traction battery pack is below the 70% warranty threshold capacity, yet though I have complained about this several times, I have yet to see any REAL test result... other than "we drove it and it seems fine". NOTE: Driving an EV for 8 miles does NOTHING to diagnose the actual usable capacity of the traction battery. Seems there's very little "EV specific" technical knowledge at this dealership - makes me doubt I'll ever buy my replacement EV there if they don't know how to properly diagnose important issues like this. The last time I had the car in for service, it wasn't even put back together when I picked it up. A service rep had to reassemble the under-dash, then I had to reassemble the frunk when I got home... so sad. More
