It pushed a piece of my front bumper in and scared me a lot. My car was only a couple weeks old so of course I was shaken. I pulled off and googled the closest BMW . When I pulled into the service lane, Mr. Brent Gustafson greeted me right away. He was so kind and after getting on his hands & knees to check the damage, he pulled out the piece & assured me it was fine. he saw all the bugs from my long drive and took the car and had it washed! I am truly thankful to him I wanted to make sure he was acknowledged. It was a late Sunday afternoon near closing! I felt he went far & beyond to make sure not only my car but I was okay to continue my trip.Even Sent me inside for snacks for the rest of my trip . THANK YOU AGAIN !!! More

As I drove up cars Check Engine light came on 20 miles of Ocala on Saturday. I am from Atlanta so I drove to the nearest BMW Dealer - BMW of Ocala. As I drove up I was greeted by Robert Czaplicki - Service Advisor. Without an appointment Robert took me into his desk, diagnosed the problem and got my car in for repair. Then he arranged for me to driven to Gainesville to parents home. Rocky the driver was outstanding. All and in all a tremendous experience. I highly recommend BMW of Ocala for service and ask for Robert. More
Fabulous dealership for sales.... the absolute WORST for service. I have worked with numerous BMW dealerships and have never encountered such poor service. It took a week to schedule an appointment, fine. service. I have worked with numerous BMW dealerships and have never encountered such poor service. It took a week to schedule an appointment, fine. I naively assumed that when I scheduled an appointment a week out, that they would actually look at my car that day. When I called to get a status on my car, the service manager told me it would be "a few days" before they could look at it! I asked then why is my car sitting in the shop for two days waiting to be looked at, and I was told that they had cars there that had been there since the week before! In order for my car to be serviced, it had to be sitting on their lot with a ticket on it in line with all the other cars!!!! Absolutely RIDICULOUS and completely incompetent1 More

What I discovered is that whenever a significant service or repair is necessary that you are stuck with the BMW service department. The service department managers are only interested in writing up as much service business as they can in order to meet their quotas. BMW has its own proprietary tools and parts that, for all intents and purposes, locks the owner into a trap of paying extraordinary amounts of money for anything from oil changes to what ought to be minor repairs. Our 2007 BMW 5 series suddenly would not start. We were not in Ocala, but in Tarpon Springs. Since we are AAA Platinum members we were able to get the vehicle towed to Ocala. We had it towed to the BMW dealership in Ocala. It took over a week for them to do the diagnostics on our vehicle. The cost of repairing the vehicle (which had less than 90,000 miles on it) was far more than it was worth. We declined the service offered. We assumed that the BMW was a total loss. My husband went to the dealership to retrieve his keys and remove our license plate. The service people insisted that he pay over $600 to cover the dealership's costs in this matter. They still have the vehicle. We consider the vehicle to be salvage and have no intention of having any further dealings with BMW of Ocala (or BMW, for that matter). BMW of Ocala (particularly its service department) is always after the biggest pound of flesh it can get out of owners. My husband paid the outrageous fee for diagnostics. That is the last piece of flesh they will get from us. And I intend to plaster social media with our experience. Those who are reading this, beware!! More

The car wasn’t there for more than two hours and they’re trying to tell me that I need new brake pads, new lift points and had to turn a brake light off. Which was gonna be $1466.49 seven cents The funny part we did the brakes two days before the car went in to their shop. We got the car back for two days after they worked on the recalled airbags and a new driveshaft the car was running rough. Took the car back in then they told me we’re gonna have to replace all the injectors for $7457. By this time I couldn’t believe what I’m hearing, 10 minutes later I get a phone call from the dealership that my engine light has just come on and my car is running rough but for $8923 it all could be fixed so I took my chances and pick my car back up brought it home, changed the fuel filter for $39.99 and that fixed my problem. Sometimes free lemonade and poundcake ain’t worth it. More
Professional Customer Service Thank you for the courtesy check call yesterday, it was nice talking with you. I have been a BMW owner since 2009 and this is the first time I’ve received a courtesy call from the General Manager. I can say by far BMW of Ocala and Porsche provided the best customer service. Everyone I encountered from the service department to sales was professional, respectful and happy to assist. Mr. Brent Gustafson provided excellent customer service. He kept me up to date on the status of my car and ensured a loaner for the duration my car was in the shop. Mr. Ron Bertrand and his team (Darnell Riley and Steven Simpson) were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and are working together to ensure I find the right car for my next purchase of either a BMW or Porsche. Overall both dealerships were bright, open and inviting. Another plus is that you also had my favorite Lindt chocolate candy as well. I am happy to give the dealership 10 across the board when I receive the online evaluation from BMW. I have also provided my comments on the DealerRater.com site today. Thank you again. More
Service department is DISHONEST and will say anything!! DON'T DO IT! We purchased a low mileage 2 yr old certified preowned 3 series from this dealership. The car was a courtesy car at this very dealership. DON'T DO IT! We purchased a low mileage 2 yr old certified preowned 3 series from this dealership. The car was a courtesy car at this very dealership. I returned on more than one occasion for a few issues (one of particular safety concern with the passenger rear view mirror repositioning itself while driving) and the dealership, on each occasion, looked at me in the face a LIED ... they said they had to charge us anywhere from 4-8 hours labor (4 hrs minimum) to "diagnose" IF there actually was a covered issue (@ $200./hr)!!!!! ... and we had to pay it whether a covered issue was found or not!! Being that would cost anywhere from $800. - $1,600. JUST TO DIAGNOSE, obviously we declined (as anyone would)! Turns out my husband's new place of work recently hooked the vehicle up to the OBDII diagnostic scanner and within minutes (NOT 4-8 hours as I was told it would take) learned that there was indeed a clear history of the very issues I was complaining about that had been reported and worked on at this dealership!! The dealership stated that all service had been performed at their location since it was brand new (remember, it was THEIR curtosy car)! The exact issues were registered in the cars computer memory since the date of manufacture!!! The computer history seemed to detect that the exact issues had even been worked on or reset! THEY KNEW all this time and repeatedly avoided correcting the issue no matter how many times I reported the issue and let me drive away KNOWING I was right! This was just ONE of multiple issues I reported to them. This went on so long and now the vehicle is no longer under warranty (that's an intensional tactic)! Apparently their gig is to charge customers an astronomical diagnostic fee in order to cover the cost of "covered" issues! Well ... that's if the poor customer falls for it! STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! We are in the market for a brand new vehicle this go around and it WONT be at BMW of OCALA or Gainesville (as they re the same owner)! More
