Only if you are under warranty I dropped my 535i off for its annual oil change and service. I was told it would be a couple of hours, so I decided to go home and get some work done I dropped my 535i off for its annual oil change and service. I was told it would be a couple of hours, so I decided to go home and get some work done. Three hours later, I had not heard anything, so I called my service manager, Jessica. She said she wasn't sure how much longer it would be, but she would check and call me back, which she did not do. When I stopped by an hour later with my husband after waiting 10 minutes for someone to find her, she reported that my service had been delayed because my oil pan drain was stripped and the mechanic had to re-thread it which took some considerable time and implying that they had somehow done me a favor, when in fact, the last time I had my oil changed was at the same service location, so it stands to reason that shoddy work the first time was the very reason that the oil pan threads were stripped. Now I have to worry whether or not the re-threading was done properly and if I am going to develop a leak and have to pay for a new oil pan because of their crappy work the first time they changed my oil. Finally, isn't it enough to charge $100 for an oil change and $150 to change the brake fluid - do you really need to pad the bill with random $41 "shop supply" charges? Frankly, shop supplies should be covered in the exorbitant charges for specific services. Sad, because I really like BMW as a brand but feel really ripped off by their service departments. More

Accelerated by the heat of the Florida sun - not a problem in Germany where the car was designed/built? The Center's "upholstery guy" also dyed the handle section leaving the whole unit looking new. Very happy with this service on my '11 535i, restoring an area of the interior to "like new" after 8+ years on the road. More
