A Consistent Theme of Disorganization I keep hoping that one day I will take my BMW to BMW of Sarasota and feel that I am a "welcomed" customer. Honestly, I get more "enthusiasm" at my To I keep hoping that one day I will take my BMW to BMW of Sarasota and feel that I am a "welcomed" customer. Honestly, I get more "enthusiasm" at my Toyota and Ford dealers (go figure!). I do have to give Carlos Munoz five stars for communication as he kept me apprised of a few issues that needed further attention and the estimated costs involved during my most recent service visit. However when I returned to pick up my car, Carlos was busy with another customer and the other technician who (very reluctantly) offered to "help" was not able to find our paperwork, therefore we had to wait for a good 15 minutes until Carlos was available. This is not the first time we have felt that the service department lacks the kind of cohesion necessary to create a seamless customer service experience. It always feels like the left hand hasn't a clue what the right hand is doing and at times this seems to annoy even the employees. Most of the people we have dealt with are personable and helpful, but it's a "bumpy" ride from the moment you pull into the service bay. More

Waiting for the car to be serviced is always a pleasure , the lounge area is comfortable with lots of goodies to munch on with good coffee . An hour and a half later Maria my service manager accompanied me to my car explaining that the service went well . My car had been cleaned and looked majestic . Maria was friendly and knowledgeable . New vehicle service I made a reservation 2 weeks in advance. I was not offered a loaner vehicle and had to ask several times to schedule one (I live more than 1 hour fro I made a reservation 2 weeks in advance. I was not offered a loaner vehicle and had to ask several times to schedule one (I live more than 1 hour from the Dealership). When I arrived at Service Center, I was immediately told they were short staffed and Service Tech could not give me an estimate for the time of service? I was notified of Service was complete in PM, drove to pick up my vehicle. Not all service items listed on work sheet were completed (only noted after departing the dealership) items remain remain incomplete. This is not the high standard of service I have grown to expect from BMW. I have bean an Owner since 1996, owning about ten BMWs (I also own a 650i). I will never go back to this dealership! More
