VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE. I dropped my BMW X5 off and did not hear from my service advisor for more than a week. It turns out he was out of the office, but nobody told me th I dropped my BMW X5 off and did not hear from my service advisor for more than a week. It turns out he was out of the office, but nobody told me that nor did they return his calls. I kept calling and NOBODY returned my calls. After a week, I went to the dealership in person to get an update on my vehicle. While this was going on, the loaner I was provided died while it was parked at the airport 60 miles away. This happened at 11:30 pm and I was forced to take an (expensive) uber home. When I reported that problem with the loaner car the next morning and dropped off the rental car keys, I was assured the car would be picked up and taken care of. I was never offered an apology or an offer of reimbursement for my Uber expense ($100). Sadley, the dealership let me down again. They did not pick up the car parked at the Tampa airport, which led to me being harassed by Hertz directly for an additional week because the car was still technically in 'my possession'. I once again went to the dealer (9 days later at this point) and picked up my BMW and had it serviced elsewhere. BTW - it only needed a new battery! I have been a satisfied and loyal BWM customer for 15+ years but this first experience with the Sarasota dealer will be my last. More
