Carlos Munos has been my service advisor for over 8 years. He ALWAYS takes care of my car -and me! This was the second time in two weeks he’s helped me- last visit was different vehicle. And after 2 ye years. He ALWAYS takes care of my car -and me! This was the second time in two weeks he’s helped me- last visit was different vehicle. And after 2 years of having the same issues with THAT BMW- he was able to diagnose the problem almost immediately- order the part- and it runs like new! Yesterday I was driving to BMW with almost NO tire pressure (due to a screw in my tire) & was afraid I wouldnt make it there- I called Carlos and asked if he would come & get me if I didn’t make it (sort of a joke), but he responded “YES! Of course I will! Just drive slow, take your time, don’t worry about being late; I’ll take care of it!” Well I did make it and Carlos was already on top of things - he had the tire- had it installed and then had my car out front waiting for me…in about an hour!!! Who does that??!!! Occasionally (only occasionally), I hear people in the the dealership waiting room complaining about prices, wait time, etc- I wish they would realize that the awesome folks in the service department do NOT have ANYTHING to do with pricing AND that these people are working their butts off to get YOUR car repaired as quickly and as safely as possible! But if you want the best they’ve got???ask for Carlos Munos he is without question a HUGE asset to BMW of Sarasota and to me! More
Was stuck there for over 3. 5 hours when I was very clear about absolutely no more than 2 hours max IF I had a place to work in my computer from. No place to work quietly with my computer (was told a table would be available.) Not offered a loaner car either before or during sevice. Visit cost $300+ more for services than I was "assured" about on the phone --with excuses about having to have the car key there, warranty-musts etc (funny how EVERYTHING else gets transmitted from the car--this is my 3rd BMW, not new to this.) And the wash? A mere rinse and sort-of vac! Very disappointing experience overall. Other service managers did attempt to reach out afterwards. The disregard of my time, however, was astonishing. More
