I went to Towson, poor service, Annapolis no cars not a good response, Alexandria no sales people who wanted to provide service. The staff at the Silver Spring office educated me on the car I wanted, I was shown the car I wanted not the car of the month! Karen was an excellent sales person. She made sure I was comfortable with I the choose I made and help me understand my driving style best fit the car I purchased, Karen took time to show me the features on my car and setup my phone before I left the lot. Andrew in finance help make my buying experience very pleasant. In the past one was made to fill you were going to the principles office when you were taken to the finance office. LOL The manager came out and spoke with me and I was greeted the minute I walked in the door! I will recommend Silver Spring to all my friends and I will purchase another car with your silver spring site. Karen is a Excellent friendly sales person, one of the best!!! Thanks Mary More

This well exceeded my expectations from the moment I walked into BMW of Silver Spring, then my trip to Europe and pick-up at BMW Welt in Munich, drop off in Vienna Austria, and finally having my car delivered again at BMW if Silver Spring. I was guided through the entire process and was treated like a first class customer! Kailash Joshi was extremely helpful in not only the purchase of my BMW and advising me on the European Delivery process but in also helping me helpful hints with my trip based on his first hand experience. Kailash was very responsive even when I had questions while in Europe. Great job and keep up the good work! More

We started shopping mid-July and finalized a pr I just finalized my purchase of a 2016 428i xDrive for European Delivery the first week of September. We started shopping mid-July and finalized a price by the last week of July. Kailash was able to expedite the process and reserve a first choice pickup date in Munich first week of September. Most online forums recommend ordering European Delivery 3+ months in advance, but Kailash was able to complete the process in 1.5 months without issue and calmed my nerves through the process. This is my first BMW (previously owned an Acura). He is very knowledgeable about the ordering process (especially the European Delivery options) and was able to answer all my questions (even my crazy nit picky ones). Great response time by email, which is my preferred form of communication. He was able to meet in the evenings and at lunch to complete the ordering process, which was convenient for my work schedule. He was upfront and fair in our negotiations. Looking forward to my Munich trip in 2 weeks! More

Service representative, Kristina Williams, is obstinate. I own a BMW 135i which I purchased from BMW Silver Spring in April 2010. Notwithstanding the mechanical issues I have had with the car, Kristina Williams, the service representative I have been assigned to is generally, rude, demeaning, and obstinate. Whenever, there is a point of discussion, it's always the customer's fault. I have personally been accused of driving improperly, not taking responsibility of my actions amongst other accusations, for example. I don't believe Kristina portrays BMW Silver Spring in a favorable light. What's unfortunate for the dealership is that I am in the market for a new car and was considering a 235i. If I buy one, it will not be from BMW Silver Spring. More
Swindle a Customer with False Service I just had a recall completed. All was going smoothly until I was about to leave, and the "Service Consultant" stated that I have some needed service I just had a recall completed. All was going smoothly until I was about to leave, and the "Service Consultant" stated that I have some needed service due to oil leaks. 1) Replace valve cover gaskets (found oil leaking oil onto ex. manifold), $464.96. 2) Replace crankcase vent valve and hoses (crankcase vent valve and hose is leaking oil), $763.28. 3) Replace front lower control arm bushings\ (front lower bushings is coming apart), $599.96. 4) Replace rear differential side seals (both rear differential side seals are leaking oil), $504.96. Total = $2,526.15 All suggested services are typical routine preventive maintenance to be performed based on the mileage of the vehicle. What they didn’t know is that all suggested services were completed less than a year ago; there are no leaks, no codes, and I just had the intake smoked to check for leaks. Service Consultants are directed by management to make money for the dealership, by maintenance suggestions, or to push the customer towards the purchase of a new/newer vehicle. Well, at least they showed me how much money I saved, which made me smile. I was going to give them 5 stars for the recall service, but after the BS suggested service. They deserve 2 stars for trying to swindle a customer. Perhaps this was just the Service Consultant’s sole actions, but I know her actions are directed by management. More

I relocated to MD last year and, lacking experience with local dealerships, spoke with four over a two week period. Of course, you don’t speak with dealerships, you speak with salesmen. At BMW Silver Spring, the salesman was Kailash Joshi. Silver Spring was the best offer. Kailash was by far the best salesman. I found Kailash quite knowledgeable about the M5, yet willing to admit if he needed to follow up on a particular question or issue. In those few instances, he always did so. Kailash took the time to understand what I wanted (and didn’t want) and incorporated that effortlessly into our conversations. He made the best initial offer (new + trade-in) of the four dealerships, and bettered it in further discussion. I found Kailash frank. I found him fair. I’ve bought several BMWs over the years, and negotiated with many salesmen. There have been two I’ve most enjoyed working with. Kailash is one of them. The other, who works where I used to live, knows this because I’ve bought several cars from him over the years. I believe the same will be true with Kailash. More

I have bought several vehicles from Kailash and have referred many friends and neighbors to him. He never disappoints. He did a great job of getting me the vehicle I wanted at a great price. I am picky with respect to color, interior, and features and always want the vehicle at a great price. Kailash is extremely knowledgeable, patient and never disappoints. You should ask for him. With respect to the dealership, I have not had a bad experience in their sales or service departments after many years of patronage. On the rare occasion when I had an issue, they go out of their way to fix it. Prior to finding this dealership I bought BMWs at two other dealers (one in NOVA and one in MD) and was not impressed. Kailash Joshi and BMW of Silver Spring are clearly a cut above and their overall ratings are well deserved. I highly recommend both of them. More
