Karen Herbert I always hate going to a dealership to buy a new car. This is exactly why I have gone to my brother who works for an Acura dealership for my last two vehicles. I have always wanted a BMW but did not have the resources to obtain one. I recently spoke to a neighbor who has a 335D. She consistantly rants and raves about her car, the bmw customer service, and the amount of money she saves in gas. Thanks to my fiance being exhausted with me always talking about getting one, I was able to go to the BMW of Silver Spring to "just look." When we arrived at the dealership we were greeted by Karen Herbert. She was friendly and assuring. I informed her of my situation with my current car and my requirements for monthly payments. Ms. Herbert was professional and supportive throughout the process. In the end I walked out of the dealership with my dream car (328d xdrive). The one piece of information I did not inform Ms. Herbert on was why the 3-series was my dream car. My father owned a BMW throughout my childhood. He promised me if i graduated college he would get me one. Due to my parents divorcing, my father relinguished his rights and walked out of my life forever. I still remembered the promise he made me. I made a promise to myself I would obtain this dream on my own. See, I not only accomplished the goal of obtaining my dream car, but I was able to gain a since of pride, success, and independence. Ms. Herbert was comforting and just an angel. I worked in the customer service industry before and I know it is impossible to understand everyone's story/background but they should be treated with respect, care, and support no matter what. This was my very first visit to this dealership since I live in the Northern Virginia with many other BMW dealerships around me. I searched for my car online and submitted an email. The price I saw on a particular car was not bad, so I took his advice and came in to the dealer. When I met Tae, he was very nice. He wanted to do make a sale, but he was above and beyond a typical salesman. He made sure all the questions were answered and made me feel comfortable. There were other people that were working with him. They were also nice and friendly. They tried to give me the best price for my car, and willing to finance my car at a low interest rate!! Awesome Customer Service! I had to take my car in BMW Silver Spring to get a gasket pan leak and some other things fixed and this dealership is the best around. Best BMW dealer in the area I've been with BMW of Silver Spring since 2011 and couldn't be happier. Had experience with other BMW dealers in Maryland and Virginia and can definit I've been with BMW of Silver Spring since 2011 and couldn't be happier.
