This is our first BMW and Kailash helped/guided us to select the right model and options - explaining each of the options and model. Silver springs BMW is a very clean and welcoming dealership. Most BMW deialerships are but after driving to at least all in the Northern Virginia area stores I realized not all dealerships are creat dealership. Lonnie spoke with us on the phone before driving up as not to waist our time to go over the inventory and what was in stock. We had a pretty specific car in mind. He had the car just not the color. However he convinced us to drive out to the store. Lonnie and management gave us a great price on the car and on our trade-in. He even threw in darker car mats when it was deemed necessary the car would need them with the kids we have. After taking the car home we noticed a small tear in the leather of the upper seat. He did not hesitate to send out a leather guy to our house and it is fixed up good as new. I had a terrific experience purchasing my BMW at BMW of Silver Springs. From first contact until the papers were signed, Kailash Joshi was nice, polite, and always willing to work with me. My vehicle search was primarily through the internet and I looked at about 25 BMWs in many states. Finally, I was so impressed with BMWSS, I drove 200 miles to purchase my car with them. After all was done, I was very glad I did. The vehicle was better than described and my representative went out of his way to accommodate my late arrival. The business office representative was equally fantastic to work with and actually got me a lower interest rate than I had pre-arranged. The dealership was clean, spacious, and well organized. The on-duty manager was interested in my experience and expressed her graditude that I had chosen this dealership for my purchase. My overall experience with BMW of Silver Springs was fantastic. This truly was my best ever car buying experience, with first-rate customer service. My next BMW purchase will be with this dealership. More

Michael Fastman UPDATE as of February 6th 2014 I am very happy to report that the management of this dealership TAKES THEIR REVIEWS SERIOUSLY!! Michael Fastman emailed me after my review and asked that I contact him. I sent him an email and that same day I received a phone call (love that over an email) from both Michael and Nan Wong. I was expecting their response to be lip service but instead I am very happy to tell you what I got were managers who owned up to the mistakes of the past (even though they predated them). Both Michael and Nan listened to my issues and took ownership of the situation. The offending parties are no longer employed at the dealership but neither used that as an excuse. I stand behind my initial review as that is my experience but what I will tell you is these folks are SERIOUS about providing you a positive car buying experience, even to the point of taking the bullet for things that happened before they came on board. I am impressed to the where I would absolutely consider buying a car from them again....... never thought I would say that! If you read the recent reviews of this dealership you see the trend is excellent so I have every reason to believe that both Michael and Nan are dedicated to providing you what buying a BMW should be, a pleasurable and fair experience! Original transaction- please read my UPDATE Do yourself a favor and DO NOT buy a car from this dealership. They run the typical over promise/under deliver, slight of hand, misleading and lying nonsense one would expect from a low end used car dealer. I did all the negotiating over the phone and internet prior to picking up the car. The dealer was further away than I wanted to travel (I'm in PA) but based on the pictures and the price the car seemed worth it. I made an appointment for an early Saturday afternoon delivery and after giving the dealer ALL the needed information they were confident I would not spend more than a few hours tops before my return trip back to PA. So after a 2.5 hour drive with my wife and son in tow we arrive at the dealership about ten minutes after our scheduled time. I announced myself to the receptionist telling her we have a scheduled appointment and she asks us to wait in the sitting area....we waited for over 30 minutes with not so much as a "we'll be with you soon." After patiently waiting I approached her again and she seemed annoyed I had interrupted her internet shopping. Finally the salesman takes us back to his desk.....no he takes us to an empty desk as he works with another couple. He now pawns us off on someone else who knows next to nothing about my transaction. When I ask to see the car I'm buying I'm told it's in the prep shop?! I had an appointment to pick the car up why would it not be "prepped" already?? So now we wait, again. After two hours of sitting in this dealer the salesman FINALLY comes over to show me the car except he shows me a Blue 4 door sedan when I'm buying a Black 2 door coupe! He at least had a BMW so he's not a complete idiot. So now he asks us to wait longer while he "figures out what's going on." He finally finds the car...it's still being "prepped", shocker! So now he drives us to the prep area where a team of guys are working on cleaning the car. I can't get within 15 feet of the thing with all the guys running around buffing and steaming everything. So now we go back to the showroom and wait some more. At about 5:00 pm, after arriving at a little after 1:00 we finally start the paperwork. I may have spent a total of 15 minutes with our salesman to this point. Now the $500 off the new car as my incentive to drive to MD gets lost in the shuffle. When I ask where the money went he tells me I need to speak to his sales manager. Now I get the "well you see we just don't have it in the deal, how about $250 instead?" I know I should have walked but after the time and energy I invested in this I just couldn't bring myself to leave so I agree to it like an xxx. I still have not seen the car at this point but the salesman assured me it was in "excellent condition.".....and the lies keep coming. The car is brought around and an arm is put on my shoulder as I'm being told, "look, we want to be up front with you on this so I want to point a few minor imperfections out." There were so many stone chips the hood needed to be repainted, not the end of the world with today's painting standards, the roof also took a beating but those were all filled in (must have been why the car was in "prep" for so long). Now I'm offered to take it for a test drive and my salesman points to where he wants me to go, doesn't offer to go with me. I'm so xxxx pissed at him maybe he was smart to send me on my own. Upon my return I square up with the various outstanding items that need attention, repaint of the hood, fix the scratch in the windshield, repair two dents and repair the cut in the leather seat. If is now after 7:00 pm, the dealer is closed and my punishment is finally almost over except for the 2.5 hour ride home. The dealer did pay to have the hood repainted, they never fixed the scratch in the window and I ended up having to replace the glass, $800.00 for the BMW glass. They never took care of fixing the seat but they did send a guy out to repair the two dents. Nice guy, came to my work and did an excellent job. He also was kind enough to inform me the passenger side door and the rear had been repainted. This was never disclosed to me and when I prompted him as to how easy it was to tell his response was "the dealer definitely knew." If you value your time and money do not buy from this operation. They are liars and cheaters and thieves and after submitting my issues to BMW USA I will use any and all social media I can to tell my story about these crooks. More

I was in the market for a new vehicle and after visiting BMW of Silver Spring, it made the choice of getting a 335i that much easier. I was also considering an Audi S4, IS350, and an ATS 3.6L. I had th BMW of Silver Spring, it made the choice of getting a 335i that much easier. I was also considering an Audi S4, IS350, and an ATS 3.6L. I had the pleasure of working with Kailash Joshi and not only was he not pressuring me at all (in fact upon our first encounter he encouraged that I do all of my appropriate research to make sure I was making the right decision, plus in hearing him speak, you could tell he was very passionate about the BMW brand and let the car speak for itself without giving me some corny sales pitch) but he was highly knowledgeable and was more than happy to show me how all of the features worked in an in-depth and very informative demonstration. He could even tell based upon the car I was looking at purchasing and what I wanted in a vehicle (2014 BMW 335i M-Sport), that I enjoyed a fun to drive car and suggested that I take delivery at the BMW Performance Driving Center in Spartanburg, SC to partake in a free of charge performance driving course. I never knew such a program existed and I, of course, was greatly interested. He wasn't only concerned with making sure I got the right car for me, but he also offered services that he felt I would enjoy. The two weeks that followed was me contacting him via email with various questions and he was quick to respond and during this two week time, he never called or emailed trying to coax me into making a decision before I was ready, he was simply there to answer or address any questions or concerns I may have. Because of the trust I had in him, I did not even bother cross shopping other BMW dealers (I theoretically could have since my car required a custom order which made it possible for me to use any BMW dealership in the area and in the DC metro area, they are plenty of them). I trusted that he would give me a good deal and after a very brief back and forth, we came to a price that was in line with my expectations. This was done through email and phone conversations. After that, I scheduled another appointment to go over paperwork and final numbers (with tax and fees). I was thoroughly impressed with how fast the process was. Total amount of time spent in signing paperwork and running the credit check was roughly 45 minutes. A lot of this time was also spent having casual conversation with Kailash which made an experience that tends to cause frustration and stress, extremely easy going and straight forward. He also let me see what he was putting into the computer system so that I could feel comfortable in the final numbers we agreed to which gave me further confidence that I was making the right decision. Now that the order for my car was sent to BMW, now begins the 6-8 week wait. Throughout this process Kailash has assured me that he will keep me up to date with any status updates on the production and shipment of the vehicle and I fully believe he will. He is an individual extremely proud and dedicated to making sure his clients are 100% satisfied. Not only am I committed to a new 335i, because of the outstanding service he has provided, I look forward to purchasing future BMW's from him as well. I highly recommend anyone in the DC metro area and Baltimore area to contact Kailash if you're in the market for a new BMW. More
