From start to finish Manny was attentive, well-informed, obliging and he was respectful of my time. In the DC metro area we have Seven BMW dealers to choose from, some close to work, some close to home. I had been in contact with a few dealerships, was not empressed with their phone skills and their lack of information. Ultimately my sales experience with Manny made my decision to buy from BMW of Silver Spring. I got the price I wanted, so if you’re in the market for a BMW, give them a call. I'm just pleased with my experience, and did not want a good deed to go unnoticed. I took a chance using this dealer to buy a CPO 09 525xi from CT, and driving down to personally pick it up relying on pictures, web info, and dealer reputation. The car was ready, clean and met my high) expectations. No surprises! It may seem like aleap of faith to buy a car form a remote dealer, but I was prepared to do that from any number of out-of-area dealers who had what I wanted, and then either have it shipped if close enough or pick it up, as I did in this case, relying on the strong BMW branding and knowing their dealers would have to meet or exceed BMW's high standards. I recently purchased a used non-certified BMW 3 series from a dealership in Maryland that didn’t offer certified BMW’s. That was my “BIG MISTAKE” they sold me a lemon. After diving it for 3 months and not getting any help from the dealer I purchased the car from. I became determined to get rid of this annoyance. So I call a local BMW dealer and drove it to BMW of Silver Spring to get an estimate of the needed work. It was here where I met Rick Lopez one of the sales managers. He could tell that I was aggravated and he asked to hear my story. I told Mr. Lopez “Rick” I looking to get rid of my 3 series. With that said he took me out to their lot with no pressure. He introduce me to Manny a salesman who helped me find the car that I wanted based on my needs of my family. This time it was a BMW certified. Manny took his time to show me everything on the car and took me out for a test drive. What made Rick and Manny and the dealership so exceptional was the fact that they all cared for my needs as a team. They all worked very hard find me certified 335i. Manny took his time to explain to me all the features of the vehicle and I do mean all. He was a professional gentleman who did not pressure me or make me feel “amateurish”. They were all very polite, patience, and most important HONEST down to the finance manager Joanna. She did not pressure me and answer all my questions.. I recommend anyone that is looking to purchase a new or certified BMW to go see Rick Lopez and his team at BMW of Silver Spring. They saved me from an extremely horrible experience that I had, gave me advice on how to deal with that bad dealership, all to help me get the car I wanted. If it wasn't for them I would be without a working car. They made my car purchasing experience very exciting and enjoyable. I can honestly say that I look forward to purchasing another car through BMW of Silver Spring. Not because of the price but because of his integrity, honesty, and passion. BMW of Silver Spring owes it to the sales manager Rick Lopez and my sale advisor Chris Allen for absolutely OUTSTANDING customer service. Since I first started looking for a 2008 535xi both Chris and Rick always went the extra mile to make sure my buying experience was an exceptional one. They have always been very pleasant and accommodating to my needs. Sometimes I neglected to reply to their emails, but they somehow convince me to come to the dealership. When I got there they kept their promises the 5 series was beautiful clean and just perfect and never any surprises. In the past I rarely bought from the same dealership twice in a row because I never found one I liked. However, BMW of Silver Spring has won my business because of my buying experience. This is due wholly to the efforts of Rick Lopez and Chris Allen. I will continue to buy BMW vehicles as long as they are working at BMW of Silver Spring. This is a good BMW dealership in terms of selection, they also have a fairly good service department. However, buyers of CPO vehicles need to be very careful buying from them, because the CPO that I bought w also have a fairly good service department. However, buyers of CPO vehicles need to be very careful buying from them, because the CPO that I bought was certified yet it wasn't actually fully up to CPO standards. 1)The tires on the car were written as 3mm tread left but in fact they were below 3mm which would have required the dealer to change them. 2)They wrote that the brakes were in good condition. I took the car to another dealer and they immediately changed the rear rotors telling me they were below spec even though Tischer had said that they were 1mm above spec. Tischer also changed the front pads & rotors after I bought the car because they admitted that they were below the CPO standards. Basically, this dealership's CPO need to be looked at closely before you buy, especially the tires and brakes as they don't want to change them if they don't have to. The CPO work costs the dealer money to fix up the car. Make sure you demand to see the CPO vehicle checklist before you buy and check the tires and brakes to make sure they are in good condition, as well as the entire service history. CPO cars should have had some work done to bring them up to CPO, so if all the dealer did is change one tire and an oil change then watch out. Also, compare pricing between them and other dealers because their retail prices are usually way higher than the cars actual value. Be careful! More
I use this dealer because I am very pleased with Jack Barber, the service writer. He is knowledgeable and very technically competent. Had a service appointment was running late got to BMW dealership and signed in waited for one hour and was not seen. Front door man kept checking in on me, apologizing for the wait but Jack Barber was st dealership and signed in waited for one hour and was not seen. Front door man kept checking in on me, apologizing for the wait but Jack Barber was still not available. Finally Jack came back and was told I has been waiting for and hour by the receptionist and the front door man and his replied was" I was 30 min late" so the wait was my fault. He had decided to got to lunch and leave me waiting even though he was notified that I had gotten there before his lunch break. He was very rude never apologized for the wait and I was seen by someone else. Unfortunate for this was my dealership of choice now I will go somewhere else. I have a high customer demand job and work 12 hour a day, and sometimes I have had to miss or end my lunch early due to a customer needing assistance this is part of being in a service job! More

I had to bring my car twice this summer due to 2 flat tires (thankfully they had recommended to get road hazard when I bought my car), 2 weeks apart. First, every time I need it Rick is kind enough to bring me a loaner and pick up my car right at my door in VA to have it serviced at the dealership. It saves me a huge amount of time. I cannot thank him enough to do this. The customer service they provide is to no equal. Additional perk: my rim was slightly scratched and they had it smoothed/fixed at no additional cost to me last time. They genuinely are making all possible efforts to please you and have things work out for you, not something that can be said about a lot of dealership. More
